December 2017 Testers: Hopeful for Christmas and Year-end BFPs

Currently on CD2 here so next af should be due 15th December so I shall keep that date as official testing date, I always test early but I won't ever call it positive even if I do see lines until af hasn't arrived and I'm still getting positives, and strong positives as I have had so many chemicals, they don't ever get to strong positives. This cycle so far feels different so I'm hopeful it will actually be different this time and hopefully more lucky

With you on that one. Also wish it could just be easy.

FX we get our Christmas :bfp: Sorry about your CP.. :hugs: One reason i don't want to test early, I'd rather get :af: than see a vvvvfl and then nothing.

Yeah I know, but I like to know what's happening. They weren't faint at first, they were really pink and there, but then they faded to nothing, then I saw more lines but very faint, then nothing, then a false positive on a Cassanovum IC. I take meds I would have to start cutting down on to eventually stop if we are successful, so it's best if I know as soon as possible, even though it has resulted like this so many times

I understand.... No judgement there. There are loads of reason why others would take early hpts like seeing progression and see if they have to stop the meds they're taking. I myself is taking a supplements that needed to be stopped after a + hpt. With my first I stopped 2 days before I found out, because i thought I could be pregnant based on my chart and don't want to cause any harm with the baby if I am. Turned out I was expecting fortunately he is fine... <3

I wish I could go on my charts, but because I'm using progesterone my temps will look positive anyway, so it's unhelpful in that respect :dohh:

During my clomid cycles I also took progesterone but I didn't see that it affected my LP temps although the last cycle im on progesterone it did make my LP longer...

It didn't affect my lp or temps hugely the first time I used it but I suspect that's because I swapped from the cream to the pessaries and I did this at 10dpo. Whereas this time I used it from the moment I knew I ovulated so a fair bit longer. My lp varies between 14-16 days, but it's usually longer because of chemicals or progesterone.
It helped my temps stay higher this time I think, they were more steady and stayed high throughout

Urgh, the things we take just to help our bodies/hormones do it's thing....

Anyone here have used EPO more than one cycle? Did it affect your ovulation? It's my first time to use it and it seems it not working as it's supposed to CM-wise. Normally I'm having watery CM around this time and it comes out on it's own without having to put my finger inside to check. This time all i'm seeing is creamy CM and I had to check from inside. I'll give it a try this cycle and if it does mess up my CM and make me O later, I promise not to use it ever again.

I am sorry for all that you have been going through, Happycupcake :hugs: I hope this cycle is your bfp, just in time for Christmas.

Hi all! I figured I would join in, November 6th I had my Mirena removed and November 9th was my period day. We are NTNP, as my husband works in the oilfield and has crazy hours so I don’t want to stress myself out trying for baby #2. But my next AF is due Dec 4th, I have very short cycles. With my daughter I got a positive a week before my period was due so we shall see this time around.

I’m also trying to lose weight and I’ve lost 21 lbs since October 12th. I’m doing the keto diet, and plan to continue it if I were to get pregnant

Looks like I’ll be ovulating tomorrow, we’ve DTD twice already, and probably more. Ever since I got the Mirena removed my sex drive has been through the roof hahahah. I may start testing around the 28th, as I’m a POAS addict whenever I’m not on birth control lol.

Yay that’s exciting! My husband and I are both doing it. I wish I would have started much sooner. I love eating this way. He’s lost 25lbs so far. We both have a long way to go but it’s been a great start

Yes, my dh is at 48lbs already, im around 40lbs loss. We started on 8 May. Its honestly the best thing that I have ever done. So easy :haha:
We are both around halfway to get into normal bodyweight range, but i think he will surpass me soon since he doesn't have all these female hormones to deal with. I am now trying to get my best friend (who is insulin resistant, has pcos, and is at 280lbs) to join in.

Well done both! (And hubbys!) I'm currently 60lbs down and at a brick wall! Havent tried keto before.. maybe that needs to be my new direction! Always just done calorie counting but my body doesnt seem to respond much to it anymore!

Keto diet? To do with ketones? Is that safe in pregnancy?

I use EPO. I used it in my previous cycle and have started it today for this cycle too. I found I wasn't making much ewcm so I increased water which helped and then started taking EPO which further helped. I noticed that my ewcm isn't always clear, it's frequently creamy/cloudy in colour but still the right consistency and I had more of it for longer which was good. Make sure you drink plenty too
