December 2017 Testers: Hopeful for Christmas and Year-end BFPs

I missed a bunch- I got stressed and had to leave the fourums over the weekend.

My husband has been having trouble performing since we started ttc (this week). We ended up BD with a successful deposit Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (I ovulated Sunday/yesterday based on ov pain I had..), but it was very stressful. Anyone have this problem?

I'm already stressed about ttc next month. I'm going to keep him out of the loop of when I'm ovulating next time.

Hi, I do notice the same thing with my husband. He get's stressed real easily so I do find keeping him out of the loop does help. I don't know if you talk about it a lot, I know I used to, but if you dial it down a little that helps too. Good luck with TTC and :dust: to you

We were talking about it a lot because we were excited. He didn't have this problem with our first, but we didn't know when/if I was ovulating (just off birth control pill), so it was never the "good bd time" pressure.

I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday and in the TWW now. Any tips for the TWW to encourage conception/implantation?

Starlight32 My DH and I have this problem. Last cycle we missed the peak days because he couldn't cross the finish line and the fact that I get upset only makes things worse.

How did you guys do this cycle? Any tips?

so far no :dtd: for us. I'm expected to on on Friday, so we are trying SMEP starting today. I'm hoping a new outfit will do the trick. Oh, I'm also feeding him Maca in his morning smoothies. :shhh:

My husband feels that anything out if the ordinary (outfit etc) puts more pressure on him because he knows I'm trying something! I have a low sex drive and we have never been very sexual active. He always wants it but now he's feeling the pressure.

What's maca?

My husbands the same way sometimes. We've been talking about TTC for months and when the time came we only dtd once in the window last cycle. A few days later he wanted to dtd every day! I don't want to pressure him so I gave him a one cycle pass knowing that if I didn't get pregnant (I didn't) I could explain why. I told him I didn't want to talk about it after the explanation or put any more pressure, but it's important if this is what we want. We came to an agreement I would give him a quick heads up when it's close so he can process it then he can pick the time of day, make it spontaneous, or whatever...it just needs to happen. lol We'll see if that works.

Keep me posted! I've found this very stressful. I'm sorry some of you ladies are going thru the same problem, but it is 'comforting' in a way to know it's not just us. I was devastated this weekend when it was so hard to get the deposit.

My DH just needed to understand the cycle, the last two months were more difficult, but this month he was really on top of things! We are ttc #1 and originally he just thought it would be so easy to get pg, and he was nervous to start finishing in me, but I think this month he felt wayyy more dedicated to getting me pg! lol he even made sure that after I had my bottom lifted by pillows and knees by my ears for 30 min at least! A couple months of no luck really had him singing a different tune. Now he is super interested in knowing my cycle and even got me an OPK :) I think the evolution just had to happen naturally for him....

Even with all that has been going on with my husbands health and having to wait to TTC....we are having so much fun. The weight of getting pregnant has been lifted and my husband and I are enjoying each other even more. We both still really want a baby but the stress was weighting on me so much. I haven't charted anything this month....

Good luck to all you lovely ladies

hi ladies! May I join the December thread? AF is due on Dec 15th so I am planning to start testing on Dec 13th. I am also scheduling HSG for next week so I am hopeful this is the month.
We had some friends over last weekend with a baby and they were sending us all sorts of hints that we should start trying for our own baby.. Ugh it made me want to cry.

Ladies who are tracking ovulation- do you find that you ovulate around the same CD every cycle?

Starlight - more or less mine is on the same day. Although I can't be 100% positive if I even ovulate since I've never confirmed ovulation via any blood test or ultrasound. Temping is too unreliable for me, I never get a clear pattern. So according to OPK I ovulate somewhere between 11 and 13 CD.

Starlight I'm pretty sure I O around the same cd every month. For me that is cd19/20 based off my cycles, a blood test and my opk I did this month.

Since my first conception i always seem to have the same cycle length although i never temp after that so i can't confirm. Since TTC this July it seems it's still the same length except for my anov cycle. And with last cycle, my first confirmed O, it looks like I'm O'ing from CD19-22 (+/- 1 day on each side). Waiting for O this cycle though but with first time trying EPO, I'm not really sure if I will O around those CDs.

I always ovulate between cd12 and cd18. Most commonly on cd15, but since my lp also vary between 9 and 12 days recently, there is no way to pinpoint my ovulation date without opk and temping.

Yes that's all I wanted him to realise was it can happen to anyone. I understood the risk was higher because I was overweight but it was certainly not guaranteed. I'm hoping I can convince them (if I do get pregnant) That I''ve lost a lot of weight and if my body coped well when over weight in theory it will cope well again!

Oh wow - 12 stone! Sorry you keep getting chemicals and struggled with an eating disorder :hugs: Sounds like you've had a tough time.

Diet wise sounds great and very healthy :) I hope you get a sticky bean soon :hugs: :dust:

Yeah precisely! It isn't much to ask from a consultant is it? And they of all people should know that whilst there may be an increased risk, it doesn't mean it's set in stone.
I haven't any doubt you will become pregnant again soon and will cope fine. Don't rush to lose weight though, the most important thing is being healthy, the rest will follow.

Hasn't been easy but life rarely is! Diet isn't awful but could do with eating more and exercising

Maca is a supplement that supposed to help with sperm quality and with sex drive. It come packaged here with chocolate so its easy to throw in the smoothies.

I seem to always ovulate around CD18 give or take a day.

Thanks for the info Happycupcake, havent heard of slimming world either. Is it a region specific thing? I am in NZ. Will google that now! Looked at Keto yesterday but not sure its the one for me, i enjoy rolled oats and beans etc so think cutting that out would be too hard.
