December 2017 Testers: Hopeful for Christmas and Year-end BFPs

Hi ladies can anyone help? So today is cd14 and I got a positive opk this morning plus a smiley on the cb ovulation test. The thing is i skipped the flashing smiley your ment to get a day or 2 before the normal smiley. Is this ok and has anyone else had this when using cb? Also do I count today as Ovulation day and would that make tomorrow 1dpo? I'm super confused as to where I'm at please help. Cycles are around 32 days. Myself and DH have BD every night pretty much for the last week including last night,would we of been covered for ovulation? Plan to BD tonight also so is that enough? Sorry for all the questions just so confused! TIA x
You can ovulate any time between first positive and 2 days later (and both have happened to me before). So to be safe, just continue your bd marathon until 3 days after positive.
Since you were bd'ing a lot before the positive, i would say that it doesn't matter that you skipped the flashy smile.

Thanks ladies! My ic tests turned positive late yesterday afternoon and then completely , without a doubt positive again this morning plus a positive on cb digital ovulation. I tested again this afternoon with an ic and again blazing positive. So was just confused as to when 1dpo is lol

I got my cd2 blood results back - any opinions?
AMH=4.280,
ATA (a-Tg=1.86 & a-TPO=0.30),
FSH=4.03,
Prolaktin=9.91,
TSH=1.375 (im already on 75mg euthyrox - so i know this is good) :happydance:

No idea about the rest though... Going for my hssg in 3 days, and will have to wait 8 more days before seeing my fertility dr for his opinion on my hssg and blood tests.

Not sure what are AMH and ATA, but the rest look normal to me, unless the reference ranges are way different in your lab. Not sure why LH wasn't included in your lab though.

ATA is to check if my hypothyroidism is due to Hashimotos (luckily its not).

AMH has something to do with my ovarian reserves, but Im not sure whether this number is good or bad.

My LH and estradiol has been tested previously and doc is happy that i do ovulate and that i have no pcos, so he said there is no need to test it again.

Thanks so much for looking :hugs:, the lab that did the tests did not give me "normal" ranges, so im a bit in the dark.

I mean I just did a quick google search but looks like your amh is normal, on the high side (4.0 is normal. Anything over that is high)

Bloblo, your results are awesome! your AMH shows great ovarian reserve and FSH is perfect (it's supposed to be below 10). Prolactin too, it's supposed to be below 25.

6 dpo here. Nothing much going on. Yesterday I had this dull heavy feeling in my uterus area which I usually get on 6 dpo so I'm not sure what's up with that. That dull feeling always brings AF. When pregnant, no symptoms before 10 dpo. And I've been pregnant 5 times. But I'm still hoping this doesn't mean AF.

Keeping fingers crossed that this is your month! Welcome back :flower:

Feeling super fed up today ladies :cry:

I know it's still early, and I know I'm not out, and I know every woman ttc goes through this horrible tww, sometimes for months/years on end.. but I feel so sorry for myself today :cry:
Had an awful nights sleep because I was DESPERATE to see a darker "line" this morning, but did the test at 4am and nothing... looked a bit later and I can see something but not sure it constitutes as a line. Ahh I just feel soooo emotional.
Thought AF was here while I did a food shop this morning, had a "damp" feeling :blush: but got home and there's nothing there. :dohh:
Also got cramps again this morning.... which I know doesn't mean I'm out.. but argh. I'm so fed up :dohh:

Sorry for the rant! Needed to vent haha. Hubby hasn't been very sympathetic and when I showed him my maybe line yesterday he was determined he saw nothing which really bummed me out :cry:
He wouldn't even look at my maybe line/maybe not this morning! argggh.. men.

Sorry for having an awful night and for cramping. FX they're nothing and not due to AF approaching.. I have my FX for you mrsmummy that you get a :bfp: and those temps stay elevated for 2-3 more days and it will definitely look 99% pregnant to me.

I think it's worldwide? I'm in the UK so I wouldn't know for sure but I think it is.
To be honest, sorry if I'm pissing on anyone's chips regarding the keto diet, but imo it isn't a good idea especially in pregnancy.
Firstly, if you go in and do your usual urine samples they will question why you have ketones in your urine. I was kept in hospital because of this and more or less accused of starving myself. I wasn't. In reality, I was off my food and couldn't face anything before my appointment.
Also, you're starving yourself of carbs which isn't a good idea. This leads to unpleasant symptoms and isn't really good for anyone anyway. So many people think carbs are the enemy but what they frequently miss is it's the type of carb, not carbs in general. If carbs in general halted people's weight loss, why does a plan like SW work? They encourage you to eat carbs. Potatoes for example - they are an excellent source of potassium which is essential for a healthy heart, and you'll be hard pushed to find something else with the same high levels. Bananas, also high in potassium. And what's wrong with wholemeal pasta? I understand why people may want to avoid white pasta, white rice, sugar, white bread but I don't understand the logic of avoiding wholemeal pasta, brown rice, wholemeal bread and natural forms of sugar like honey or agave? All in moderation, they're all excellent sources of fibre, another essential in pregnancy if you want to avoid piles! And obviously good for a healthy digestive system. Who wants to have headaches, migraines, feeling faint, dizzy spells and be stuck on the loo for an eternity trying to push out a pound coin sized poo ...

I know that in pregnancy when I have GD I almost have to go completely keto. Very low carb by the end. I've always had healthy babies so I don't think it's been too much of a damage for me or for them!

If there's a health benefit other than losing weight, then I see the point but otherwise it seems like a really harsh way to do it. It isn't an easy diet as far as I can see?
But I have always worried about it during pregnancy (as in general weight loss or management) because I got bollocked for having ketones in my urine, and I was overweight, not by loads but by enough. So it seems like it would be frowned upon, where I am anyway?

That’s what I was gonna mention. Those with GD are advised to limit their carbs

Should have multiquoted, sorry!
Don't they single out certain carbs to avoid, or is it all carbs? I was lucky and escaped GD in my pregnancies, so I don't know anything about GD. I do know though, something of this diet and it sounds like a nightmare, like something you wouldn't want to do unless you absolutely had to

Sorry gross question - does anyone experience watery pink cm at the end of af? Just wondering if I'm normal or weird

I always end my period with brown spot. I think watery pink CM is not a cause for concern. Is it the first time you noticed it? Maybe it's your norm.

happycupcake, that happened to me last cycle. I thought it was weird too!

I see it some cycles at the end of af, sometimes not so much so assuming it's normal. I had BV ages ago but that was different as cm was constantly watery, like a tap and it smelled odd, this doesn't have a smell and isn't anywhere close to as much, doesn't happen at any other time in my cycle

Just a quick comment.
I had GD with my second son and also in my last pregnancy (not confirmed). I couldn't eat any carbs without my BS going sky high. So I was losing weight even though I ate a lot (veggetables, milk products, meat, nuts, etc.). And I'm skinny as it is. I had to inject myself with insulin so I could at least eat some carbs. It wasn't easy.
I know that you're not supposed to have ketones in your urine. Ketones pass the placenta and may affect the baby. So I wouldn't try keto when pregnant...

Sorry this leads on from the CM thing.... but a bit of a WTH? I hope this makes sense....

I get the brown spotting at the start and end of my period, and it has really confused me this cycle as I know you should count from the first day of red blood, which was like 3 days in from when the spotting started.

Based on my tracker, I should have Ov'd around day 14/15 (20th), but testing on OPKs there was nothing (only a slight bit of LH picked up in the first test on what should have been CD 12). Now on CD 17 I still am getting negative OPKs. I did have a dip on my BBT chart around the time when it would have been 14/15 days after the brown spotting started (17th), so maybe I actually Ov'd then as the brown spotting really was the start of my period :shrug:

I'm not TTC this cycle, I was just tracking to see what was going on. I'm pretty regular with 28/29 day cycles and I guess I'll only know for sure if I get my period a couple of days earlier or if it goes to 28/29 days after the red blood.

Any thoughts??
