December: Call for people trying IUI this month

Hi ladies,

I think I'm out this time too, but still holding on to a little bit of hope.

I have had very light spotting since yesterday with mild cramps like AF is coming. It's kind of early (wasn't expecting period until Monday at the earliest), so I guess there is a chance that it's implantation bleeding. But my BBT was down slightly this morning too, so my hope is dwindling.

If AF doesn't kick in full blast, I'll test tomorrow. Otherwise, I think I'm going to join the Jan IUI group. I just wish I could know for sure as I wouldn't mind a cocktail and some Advil if I'm not pregnant!

Hi ladies, my second iui didnt work were going to do one more then moving on to ivf (I really hope the third ones a charm because ivf scares me!) scrystal, I hope it wasnt the witch for you!

sonyabazonya~ I'm sorry Definitely give the IUI a 3rd - or even 4th!!- try! I see MORE AND MORE AND MORE people getting BFP's on the 4th try so definitely give that another go and be optimistic about it!! Fx'd for you!

sonyabazonya, hollyw79 is right. I've been looking into IUI success rates, and most people it works for get pregnant within the first 6 cycles. The exception is women over 40 they say it's best to move on to IVF after 3 tries of IUI.

IVF scares me too, and I am beginning to worry that it's not going to be so easy to conceive baby #2. We really won the lottery with baby #1, and now we're wondering when to proceed to the next thing to try if this doesn't work.

So, AF did end up coming afterall - I half expected it, it was a very strange cycle for me in so many ways. Anyway, FX'd that the third time's the charm for both of us (and first time for hollyw79)!

scrystal~ I'm sorry AF came full force I will definitely keep my FX'd that 3rd time is a charm for you ladies... and sure~ 1st time would be nice for me.. but I'm almost afraid to feel like it's possible for fear of being disappointed. I feel pretty relaxed (for the most part) about whatever will be~ will be~ and that there is a time for everything...

J_in_Dubai~ I am feeling okay.. nothing special .. afraid to say or even analyze anything for fear of disappointment. I'm only 6dpo and my doc wants me to wait another week before I take a test. (SIGH) Waiting stinks!!! I am sooo praying it worked! Thanks for asking about me! How are you???
