Hello!!!!

I'm on day 3 of my clomid regimen - with last dose on Friday (days 5-9). Start OPK's on CD 10 (Saturday - Xmas!!!) and as soon as it turns positive we go in for the IUI the next day.

Hoping it will fall next week before NYE - it should, anyway! My tests have come out normal, and same for DH now.

Our 6th and FINAL IUI will be done tomorrow morning. Did my trigger shot last night. Hoping it works this time, but keeping my hopes and expectations very low.
Although we cant really afford IVF, that's the next step. The financing they have is actually quite workable. So I guess I'm kind of excited/ready to move on. 6 months on Femara and shots, Im SO tired and mentally over it all.
It doesnt help that 90% of my friends are pregnant, and 2 of them had their babies just last week.
I'm ready to go back to enjoying my life. And if thats without a baby right now... fiiiiine!

Hi ladies - do you mind if I join?

I started my first IUI cycle today Am really pleased, optimistic, upbeat and looking forward to it

Ive felt very low at the beginning of the week when my 4th Clomid cycle failed but a new plan helped me pick myself up!

Is anyone else on the injectables? Im on Menopur injections every other day for 5 days and then going for m first follicle tracking scan on NY's eve!!!

Im really excited now actually - finally no more OPKs and timed BD'ing - I think the pressure from all that was having a huge impact on my moods and our relationship.

Hi ladies,

I just got back from the doctor's office, where I had my first IUI. I think I will probably avoid the forums for the next two weeks, because I really want to try to relax. (I find myself obsessively reading the BFP Announcements section and getting weepy- does anyone else do this??)

But I wanted to wish all of you luck with your IUIs...fingers and toes crossed for lots of BFPs!

How stressful it is to go through all this, lot of valuable time and effort. Every now and then I have moments when I start thinking pessimistically and get into depressing thoughts and comparisons, but then though it takes some effort staying positive lets me live my normal life.

Hi Ladies, I would like to join you, I had my 4th IUI with injectables cycle on 12/19 & 12/202 back to back IUIs (may be better for male infertility - send in more troops). It is my first time doing a back to back, we usually do a single IUI. I am hopeful this is it but I just found out today that I am suffering from mild OHSS, and it is not pretty my whole pelvis feels like somebody stomped it from the inside.

Hey ladies - and Merry Christmas!

I had my secodn injection today - first alone at home! It was really nerve wrecking Im not afraid of needles at all - and was quite happy to inject myself. But still...afterwards my hands were shaking and DH was quite nervous too. I was really worried about getting the air out of the syringe.

Next one is on Monday and another on Wednesday followed by a scan on Friday.

I had a quick question for those ladies who had IUI before - did you have to abstain from BD'ing before the actual IUI? Im sure we'll be told something at the first scan but if it's more than a couple of days Id like to know now.

Hey Holly, I wanted too, but I got OHSS after the IUI and my pelvis is just feeling like normal today. Had to cancel going to my moms for Christmas because of it. I was so shocked I never got it before.

Maria - Don't worry about the air actually, it is such a small amount it won't do any damage at all - my re says they tell people to get it out just because of skirmishness. Also we have been told to abstain at least two days before the IUI but no more than five days for best sperm sample.

I'm still waiting to O - finished my last 100mg clomid dose 12/24 and am CD13 today.

I am a clomid virgin so I have no idea how this will affect my cycle. I do know that I'm having some wicked ovulation jabs the last couple days!

Hi ladies,

I just has IUI #2 TTC baby #2. I did 2 this time on 12/26 and 12/27. I'm going non-medicated since I have no known issues and we are using frozen donor sperm.

Thought it'd be fun to chat with some people during the 2ww!

Welcome scrystal and sonyabazonya You both are a little ahead of me... I am waiting to get my positive OPK before getting my first IUI~ I am guessing (not sure with the Clomid for the first time) that I will ovulate the beginning of next week.
