did anyone else decline the triple test?

I declined it but when a soft marker came up- they allowed me to come in and take the test. Thankfully my little man is just fine.

I didn't decline and have found myself in the high risk category (see my post triple test result high risk).
This has just opened up worry and concern for me and probably now having hindsight (wonderful thing isn't it?) I wouldn't have taken it as I don't want to press any further as the risk of the amnio is about the same as the risk of a down baby.
I think we did the test so we could be prepared or give us some idea of what the risk might be, all it has done is just made me worry more.
So like some others say I don't think there is any point in doing it if you know you definitely wont abort regardless of the result. But all women are different and really only you know the right decision in your heart. I hope this helps a little and good luck with your pregnancy.
