did something bad - reused a test

So, I am 5 days late but not so sure if that is normal b/c I had few non-birth control periods. I tested before my period was due and at 2 days late both BFN. I tested again at 5 days late but the test was defective no control line. I peed on it again later (i know! bad!!!!) and slight slight line and slight control line. possible????

Definitely get another test, but it's enough to be hopeful. Out of curiosity, I did that once with a FRER that DID have a control line the 1st time I peed on it. The 2nd time I peed on it though, I still didn't get a test line at all.

I've never thought to do that....I might have to give it a go and see what result I get. All in the name of science of course!

I got tons of used test in various places in my house)negative ones.and when i pee if i find one near me i use it again.Not on one of them did i get a hint of a line.And the test line was as dark as the control one at 6 weeks.So if you re-use a test it won't give you a line even if you are 6 weeks pregnant.

I did do this one time. I tried to POAS, but did not have enough urine, so the dipstick did not get wet enough, and the control line did not come up. I used it again later that day, and it worked! It was a BFP, (which I already knew, because I had already taken a few tests). But the reason it worked was because the urine did not react with the chemicals and dyes, since there was just not enough. If there had already been a control line, not sure if that would work. I should try it!!

I retested: bfn Still no AF And a week late. I called doc and secretary said come in for bloods as sometimes bfps dont come up on hpts. but I think I'll wait a few more days as I don't wanna miss work. But the suspense!!!! Killing me
