Did you have a qualitative blood test done?

Going today for pregnancy confirmation and curious about if/when hcg blood tests are done

Yes at 2dp5dt as I ended up in A&E with OHSS. My beta was 2, which is technically not pregnant but I just knew I was.

I POAS at 7dp5dt (the day I got out of hospital) and got a BFP.

The hospital refused to repeat my beta whilst I was in there.

My blood test was taken at my confirmation. Pee test, then long family history, pelvic exam, pap (if you haven't had one recently), then blood test, and I was sent on my merry way.

Yes, but we were doing infertility treatments. I'm not sure if they do them for normal pregnancies. You could always ask and request one.

I went in for my pregnancy confirmation test and the test came back inconclusive.

First beta HCG (@13 dpo) was 48.
Second @15 dpo was 67 (at which point I knew it was over).
Third @22 dpo (I think?) was 30.
I started to bleed the day after that third beta.

My doctor told me that they consider <25 to be inconclusive and between 25-50 they see as automatic re-tests in 48 hours.

I only had them done because of 2 previous miscarriages.

Got my bfp at 10 dpo. 1st beta at 11 dpo - 47. 2nd at 13 dpo - 159. 3rd at 5+1 - 10,000 something. I think it just depends on your dr. Some don't even do it.
