DNA Fragmentation?

FS said we'd send DH for this DNA Fragmentation test next if current cycle was BFN. She didn't really explain much about it but I understand it's like a SA. Has anyone done one? Any idea what the implications are if the result is not good? Like is IVF still an option?

My DH had one before our last IVF cycle. My RE said he thinks we would get more blasts if he did not do ICSI, so he wanted to rule out any DNA issues with hubby prior to doing that. Thankfully all came out fine with him. I believe if there is any fragmentation they will do IVF with ICSI and take the good sperm for injecting.

My DH submitted the spermies for the DNA test. Results will be discussed during our first f/u w the FS this 21st of Jan.
