Do I still have a chance this month?

Hello ladies,

I've been a sneaky reader of this site for a long time but I thought I'd finally join now that me and my oh are trying.

I had the copper coil (no hormones) removed in January and we've been trying since March.

This month feels different and I wanted to post my symptoms and see what people think...

I have a regular 28 day cycle and have had for years. I use an app to track my cycles and have done for years. I've had one or two cycles here and there that have been 29-30 days but almost always 28 days usually.

So this cycle...
Ovulation cramps on cd15, cd16 and cd17 (I don't use opks or temp yet) but cramps are a definite sign of ovulation for me.

We had sex on cd12, cd14, cd17, cd18, cd20 and cd22.

I usually have sore breasts all over from ovulation all the way to af.

So far my symptoms are...
5dpo - sensitive nipples
6do - bad heartburn all afternoon/evening
Noticeable shooting pains in left breast
7dpo - left nipple sore (just the left one and just the nipple)
More shooting pains in left breast
8dpo - mild heartburn
9dpo - mild heartburn
10dpo - Nightmares last night, nipples sore, twinges/pinches in lower ab
11dpo - vivid dreams last night, nipples feel bruised behind, teary/emotional
12dpo - nipples felt on fire in the night, struggled sleeping due to burning sensation in nipples, nipples super sore, vivid dreams again, very strange twitching in lower ab (like when your eye twitches when you're tired but deep in my lower tummy) went on for a few hours on and off
13dpo - negative hpt, af type cramps on and off all day, twitches in tummy again late evening, nipples not as sore as yesterday
14dpo - nipples still a little sore, af cramps on and off all day, due tomorrow so figure I will come on
15dpo - af due today, a few cramps, no show, checked Cervix and it's super high and wet/soft
16dpo - today - negative hpt, no symptoms at all and no af. Feel full of energy and don't feel like af is anywhere to be seen.

Usually before af comes I feel low and bloated and blargh. Since about 13dpo I've actually been feeling great energy wise and mood wise.

So... With it being 16dpo and a negative hpt (25miu boots cheapie) what do you guys think?

I'd test with a FRER. Its hard to say with your DPO count since you aren't temping or using OPKs so you aren't totally sure on which day it happened. I would wait maybe another day and then test with one, and if negative, I would wait a few more days and test again. Then, because you are so regular and you are quite a few days past O, I would maybe ask my doctor for a blood test to check for sure if you are still missing AF after a week.

Thanks for your advice I agree it is hard to know when I ovulated. I guess I should start using opks next month but I'm praying I won't have to hahaha

Yeah I think if I haven't come on in a week and still getting negative hpts then I'll defo book a doc app!

Fingers crossed I'll get my bfp soon! I'll post an update tomorrow after testing with frer

Ugh. af showed up this morning so I guess I ovulated on the last day of my cramps damn it.

Was so sure this month. I've never had burning nipples before and thought that was a clear sign. Damn.

Onto next month...
