I didn't have my 12 scan,because I didn't find out till i was 19 weeks!
At my 20 weeks scan they gave me 3 scan photos

After that i had another 6 scans due to fluid levels
And im having my 9th next friday

But i Didn't have to pay for mine,but from what i heard i think it depends in each hospital

There was a donation box in our hospital and I put a £5 in at 21 week scan (I got 9) as the sonographer was soooo helpful, early scan 6weeks (no pics), 13 (weeks I got 3) free, 34 weeks (no pics)

We were meant to pay £4 per picture (I'm in Derby) but the scanner only made us pay for one...when we got 3 lol

They never took pics or said abou them but at the early scan and the 34 week scan you couldnt really see much xxx

In London I hear 2 is normal so I think it will depend on area but they should scan you if you had a previous MC well Good Luck anyway xxx

in glasgow you get one scan at 12 weeks... i was classed as high risk and still was not offered a 20week scan, with my son i had bleeding every 2-3weeks so got scans at 7, 11,12,13,15,17,19,21,26,29,31,32,33 lol but that ws because of bleeding because lost my waters at 31 weeks and also because all problems i hd was on bedrest most my pregnancy so u cn get lots of scans but usually only get 1-2 free on NHS to get the private ones it can cosr £100+ per scan

i know alot of women who lie say they are having pains and bleeding i personally because of my hellish pregnancy and my losses wouldn't tempt fate but alot of people do that to get more scans.

i wouldnt do that to be honest. mostly because i know how it feels to get a BFP then start bleeding and lose a baby. personally i wouldnt lie about something like that x
