just wondered whether you all buy presents then decide where to put them after christmas or work out where things will go before you buy?

Normally after but this year I made sure I had a brand new toybox, book case and storage unit before i started any of my present shopping. The spare room is becomming callum's play room this year so we will have plenty of space (it also has a walk in cupboard for storage) x

After, I still havent evan thought about it and don't really want to either lol. I think we will have to invest in a toy box and bookshelf also. x

We live in a two bedroom flat and there is soon to be four of us so I have to think about it. I don't buy anything without thinking about where I could put it, we don't exactly have a lot of free space.

After Christmas and I am dreading it this year, usually Dec would get a lot of clothes for his birthday but this year everyone and I mean EVERYONE bought him toys so they have taken up all available space

its not something i have to worry about now. last year we had a big room switch round and the boys now have a play room so everything just goes in there.

Big toys I plan. There are a few things I've wanted to buy him this year but just couldn't because of space (we have a tiny house). I've deliberately not bought him much because there's just nowhere to put it all!

Considering our shopping is done and that all of mine, OH's and LO's presents currently fit comfortably on a metre wide windowsill I'm not particularly worried about it. There is nothing big that won't fit with his other toys and books really. If I bought big presents though I'd think about where they'd go without a doubt.
