Doctor writing off this clomid cycle. :( :(

I am on cd14 and bleeding heavy. I took 150mg of clomid. I just got off the phone with my doc and they are writing off this cycle. They said not to come in for day21 bloodwork or nothing. Just to wait for next cycle and take 150mg again. I'm feeling defeated. I am going to bd anyways but not feeling very hopeful.

I hope so. It's just an all around bad day today. A friend of mine passed away this morning. It just seems like it just keeps piling on and all I can do is cry.

aren't they going to check why you are bleeding so much? is it normal for you to bleed mid cycle?

My thoughts exactly, why would you be bleeding heavily at ovulation time, and why would your doctor not want to know why? That doesn't sound right to me. I am very sorry to hear about your friend

No. I was expecting them to do an u/s or something. They didn't answer any of my questions. And I have never had mid cycle bleeding. My cycles vary in length but when I do get a period it usually lasts around 5 days. I have had consistent spotting and bleeding for 14 days straight. In my opinion they should have checked into the why a little further.

I'm going to use opks and bd every other day anyhow. I have always liked this doc office but they are really dropping the ball now.

Their dropping the ball with a vengeance, did you get to speak with your actual doctor or just a nurse or receptionist, if not I would call and get them to page YOUR doc and talk to him, it just doesn't seem right to me, they should find out what is going on.

I spoke with a nurse who talked to my doctor. She then called me back and told me what he said.

I also had severe pelvic pain last Monday (cd6) and I went to my doctor. He didn't even check it out or anything. He just said it was probably a follicle growing. I don't get this!!! Why are they not checking me better. If I did have a follicle growing what happened to it.

So confused....

don't know if this can help but my specialist told me that while on clomid if i got a swelling or pain in the ovaries to put a bag of ice for as long as required. she said that usually pain and swell do not require medical attention so you could try this.
she didn't tell me anything about bleeding though, sounds very strange to me that your doc decided to no even see you...
