any opinions on it? I currently swadle with a sheet but i think it would be easier to just buy one.x

i had one and thought it was great. So much easier than getting a sheet right, especially after a night nappy change! I used them for a while until lo was big enough for sleeping bags. Jx

I'd recommend them they're easy to do :) we used them until lo decided he didn't like swaddling anymore x

Sophie has slept in them since birth. We're on the bigger size now and I absolutely love them. Apart from maybe once a week she'll get one arm out, but I just reswaddle her when she wakes for a feed.
She still needs the swaddle to sleep peacefully :).

Highly recommend them. Used one till 3m for all sleeps and still use it when out and about over nap times sometimes as its smaller than a blanket.

brilliant, just ordered a pack of three for £20, which i thought was very reasonable. i ordered the small size as it says it goes up to 14lb, hope thats right?

i agree it is a bit of a faff swaddling with a sheet, especially at night when feeding and changing nappy!xxx

they were awful for me

that was my 3 month old in a size 4-9month old and theres absolutely no way he was going to stay in that so i took them back. and it doesnt hold their arms down so i found he could wriggle them to the front, which woke him up anyways!

just carried on using my miracle blanket and just leave his feet out now, best buy EVER <3

love mine and lo is still swaddled for all naps, not sure what i will do when he gets too big as at the mo he still needs them. even oh who was originally against swaddling agrees they are wonderful as he sleeps so much more peacefully!

Ooh this is helpful. I have a Mothercare swaddle blanket and want to get something different. My boy definitely still needs to be swaddled and is growing fast so I was looking for recommendations :)

Sorry off topic, but is your son's name shortened or is it just Aidy?

I got a miracle blanket and he didnt like not being ale to move his arms, strange as he cant when I use a blanket anyway lol. So I got one of these summer pods and I was disappointed. He didnt sleep as long as usual and he could move his hands up to the neck and get his fingers out to suck on which would wake him up. So we have only used it twice, dont know what to do with it now!

I didn't like them. When LO was 2 months I had her in the 4-9 month size. Her legs kept popping out or she'd get her arms out through the middle of it. I ended up getting the Halo swaddle blanket instead and it was great although we only used it till she was just about 3 months.

We use these for our LO. She's only 8 weeks and 12 lbs but is in the bigger size. She has long legs and likes to be able to stretch them out. She also will get a hand free on occasion. We have three and could use more as she'll spit up or poo on them and they always seem to be in the wash!

I love mine. I used to swaddle him with a sheet but he's a crafty boy and could wiggle himself out of it. With these he does pop his hands out eventually but it holds him in tight. Can't do without.

yeh its just Aidy :haha:
i'd never heard it before, but OH was convinced it is actually a name lol

Mine is just Aidie (we decided we liked that spelling after OH suggested it) :D You are the only other person I've 'come across' with that name. We liked it but not the typical names it's shortened from and decided it didn't matter if it was typically shortened :)

awww wow :D ive never come across it either other than my Aidy :D we debated the spelling too, just choose the Y because i like names with 'Y's in :haha:
i dont like the shortened names either, and hate it when people call him Aiden etc! people always ask if its short for anything :dohh: lol
