Does applesauce make them poop a lot?

Rocco is a one-a-day pooper, sometimes every other day. He's pooped 4 times today!! And it's only 730pm here so he might poop even more still! I gave him applesauce yesterday and today. Do you think that's why?

Apples contain a lot of pectin which increases viscosity and volume of stools. So yes it's quite likely that it has caused his poop marathon. They shouldn't have been particularly loose as the pectin in the apples should help to "bind" the poop!

Not runny at all. Sticky actually. I had to use a washcloth because the wipes weren't cleaning him
