Does your baby have a nickname?

My nick name is boo as this was one of my first words as a kid. My whole family calls me this and so does my husband. Just recently 3 separate people have referred to lo as baby boo. I'm sure this will stick and it will be what our lo will be known as the rest of the pregnancy!

Though with a 3 yr old and a 2 yr old as well we often just call it baby or "the new baby"... We have jokingly called it Jesus too.

Before we knew the gender we referred to baby as my parasite. We still do sometimes, but generally now that we know what we are naming him we refer to him by name.

Our little girl now often gets referred to by name (although we're not telling anyone what her name is yet), but from the beginning of the pregnancy she was known as Squishy, since she made my brain turn to mush! Even now, at nearly 24 weeks, I still have really bad pregnancy brain. We just tell people the baby stole my brain. But yeah, that's why she's known as Squishy.

We call it by the names we have chosen. Sometimes we use the boy name and sometimes the girl name since we don't know what we are having yet. I was not 100% convinced by the names but the more we use them the harder I think it would be to change them. Our scan is tomorrow morning so I hope we will know which one to use then.

That's right! We actually get back this Friday! I am SO excited as we are finally telling everyone I'm pregnant. Keeping it a secret has been so hard!! If you don't mind me asking, which province are you in? I'm from Ontario.

Before I knew I was pregnant, I had a dream that I was abducted by aliens and they told me that I was having a boy. I should have taken that as a sign then, but I didn't test for another month lol

DH and I refer to out little girl as Bob, because at out 8 1/2 week scan her head was so big and her body was so little that DH said "its just bobbing around in there". She's been bob ever since, lol.
