Dreams before BFP?

Sorry to sneak into first tri but I had a quick question. I'm wondering how many girls had dreams about being pregnant shortly before getting their BFP?? In the past week and a half or so I have had THREE dreams all about getting a BFP on a pregnancy test. I googled it to see what it "means" and it says a lot of people have dreams like this when they're stressed about trying for a baby but my husband and I were not trying. I've missed my period and I'm now almost 3 weeks late for AF but still BFN...

I had a very strong vivid dream that I got a BFP - woke up and tested and thats when I got my BFP! So... I would try a more sensitive test or call your doc and get a blood test. it won't hurt anything to find out for sure

Ok this is weird but in January (when I got my BFP) I had 3 different dreams in one night. 2 of them, I was pregnant with our baby and 1 of them it was already here and a girl. Then the night I ovulated, I had a dream that the sperm and egg met... Like I could see it. How crazy is that? It actually happened.

I've had dreams like that before, but never got my bfp. Now this month I didn't have any dreams and got my bfp! I think it all depends. good luck!

Oooo, I just saw this thread. Before I even got pregnant last year I remember two dreams. The first I was talking to my best friend but had a huge bump and the next was more like a list I saw of things that'll eventually come to me. And on the top of the list it said Baby boy, and when I saw that positive pregnancy test I knew I'd be having a boy. I'm a total believer in your unconscious mind trying to tell you things.

i dreamed about getting my BFP, (i could see it clear as anything, even the test was a first response 6 day early test that i had stashed in my bedside drawer!) when i woke up i did i test straight away, and bingo! my BFP!!

Thank you all for your responses! I haven't tested since last week but that was a BFN...however I went for blood work yesterday so we'll know for sure anytime! I just think it's so funny that I would have so many dreams about it in such a short amount of time.

My DH dreamt tt I got preggy so does this count? I dream every night but of late I can't remember any of my dreams. hmmm....

The month before my bfp I dreamt I was announcing my bfp on this site (we had been ttc for over a year, no such dreams beforehand). I saw the name of the first forum member to congratulate me in my dream, and in real life she also fell pregnant a month later. Wierd with a beard! xx

This pregnancy I dont remember any dreams but every month leading up to my bfp I was having the same dream that I would see a baby foot pushing out my tummy and I would grab it through my skin...it was weird as I would test and get a bfn and af would show up a few days later. With my 6yo I had one where I told her father I thought I might be pregnant and he said why dont you take a test. I said it was too early...the next morning I took a test and bfn, I sat there like, duh my dream just said it was too early...sure enough a few days later I got a bfp... I've had others before getting my bfp with my other 2 but that one dream was the perfect example of my subconscience telling me something!

i had a dream i got a bfp the night before i got it. but a few months ago, i had a dream about a bfp but it was bfn. so you never know.

I dreamt I got a BFP on New Year's Eve - had taken 2 tests on 30th/31st that were negative, but this dream made me get them out the bin - to find 2 lines on both of them. Very odd!! Confirmed it with a digital and its said 2-3 weeks!

Was our first month TTC so all a very surreal experience!

I had a two dreams about seeing a positive on a pregnancy test, then one dream where I already had a little girl with really thick black hair (my fiance's beautiful hair color). In the time that we have been trying to concieve that was the first time I had a dream about a BFP. I waited a week and there is was plain as day, my two beautiful lines. This was my BIGGEST sign that I was pregnant. Even before the bb's and cramps. Infact, the only times I've ever had the BFP dream was when right before getting one. They were so vivid that I saw the pee move across the stick and the line show up. The first one I got a BFP that morning and then this time around I had one and it was 3 days before I got a BFP.

This happened to me!

I was cd-68 and convinced AF was on her way, as I had period type cramps, really bad skin etc. But I had a dream that night that I was pregnant, and I woke up, found a test in the house and did it! Didn't expect to see two good lines come up!!!

Thank you all for responding!! It looks like I must be out. I did get blood work done a week ago and heard nothing back from my Dr. (usually no phone call just means negative results)
I guess pregnancy must have just been on my mind!!

I had a lot of vivid dreams which isn't terribly unusual for me but I had a lot that I remembered. I specifically remember one dream in the few that I dreamt someone else was pregnant that I knew. She is a single lady over 60 so let's just say that it wouldn't be possible lol.

I had a dream I had a baby girl 2 weeks before a bfp last year, but then began having dreams of a poorly baby boy, and later had a mmc. I am pregnant again, and I have no inkling if its a boy or girl, but if its a girl then I met her before I conceived her!

At 2 DPO I too had a very vivid dream that I've never had before.

In mine, I saw the urine line move across the stick and the two lines for my BFP show. In my dream I tested three times and could all see them turn positive.

Did anyone have a dream like this and have a BFP? I haven't even been stressing or thinking about this. Sounds like a lot of ladies have had this and had BFP's in return.

I didn't have a BFP dream, but I was having some crazy dreams in general before I got my BFP. I still haven't had any baby dreams, but I just have really weird vivid dreams. I guess last night was the closest baby dream I had, it had to do with Toddlers and Tiara's.
