I do not agree with drinking in pregnancy as such. Drinking being more than one and regular etc.
However I did have half a glass of champers on Christmas day and the odd weak shandy with a pub meal. I, personally, do not see any problem with one having the odd drink... just not a strong/large drink, never more than one and never regularly.
Incidentally I also eat pate, runny egg and lots of other stuff you are "advised" to avoid. I'm a grown woman, I can use the internet just as well as those with an opposing opinion, I did my own research and felt comfortable and confident that I am not taking any real risk (I mean come ON, I am yet to hear of a single person getting listeria from a dippy egg lol). Others may not share my view... but they also do not share my pregnancy. My choice is just that, mine.
