Due 15th Sept or around

Paris, I get a little foot or something prodding out of the top right side sometimes, it flipping hurts sometimes too if it really pushes, feels bruised.

Baby321, how do u find sections afterwards, is it hard to do things. This will be my first section and with 2 other children I'm worried I'll struggle even though I'll have lots of help c

Hi ladies, my due date is the 24th Sept but my c-section is planned for the 6th. Getting very nervous, only 22 days to go. Its my 4th c-section, I had a mw app yesturday and she said I am at risk of uterine rupture so I feel nervous all the time. I am just feeling so frightenend this time around Just want to get through it, get my beautiful baby and be able to raise my little children. i have been getting lots of aches and pains this time round due to having had gall bladder surgery before getting pregnant. the area they have taken my gall bladder from really hurts.

In regards to back labour, back labour is very uncomfortable but I cannot compare because I have not had normal labour. When I had my firts two babies I just had to either sit and push my back when I had contractions in my back or really get my husband to press on my back hard in order to feel some comfort.

Wish you ladies the best of luck. Hopefully we will get through this tough time :hugs::hugs:

Hi Baby321!

Wishing you all the best with your c-section:hugs: My dh's mom had three kids..all c-section babies...with no problems. I'm sure they are looking out for you and are putting your best options forward. Just think about how soon you will have your baby in your arms.

Do any of you ladies ever get the "foot drag" where is feels like baby is digging and dragging their foot all the way across your abdomen? Maybe it's a knee? I'm not sure but either way it undoubtedly happens when I'm at the grocery store and nearly stops me in my tracks!

I get a foot or something moving about at top usual when I'm sat down, sometimes it really shocks me

Silly question but how do you know if your baby is back to back?? I have an anterior placenta too and have had a hard time baby mapping to any extent. The only giveaway is when he has hiccups...they are low down so I know he is head down!

I wouldn't have had a clue if my midwife hadn't told me! apparently they can feel which side is the back of the head and which is the front (one side is narrower than the other I think). I have no idea how they do it, when I feel my belly I can't work out what's what at all! Just feels like lumps lol

I get that Every Day!!!! SO painful and annoying, Especially since I think the baby has turned head down when the feet start going under my ribs it pushes down into my cervix as well and takes my breath away....:(

Due Sept/14/2012, so so so ready to be done work and have this baby. Cant wait until my last day on the 31st.

Hi ladies,

Misskat, I think I've dropped too it seems a lot lower but sometimes still gets right up under ribs, so maybe not?

Sunnydaze, swimming sounds good, bet It takes a lot of weight off being in the water, I should of kept up some sort of exercise.

Babyblue, I go next tues to get a date for a section, I'm excited but worried too x
Swimming is wonderful! I really recommend it as it just takes all the aches away. Getting out of the pool is a little funny though because all of a sudden you feel all of baby again. I wonder what it feels like for him while I am in the pool, must get him all confused lol.

Wonder if they know! I always wonder what they get up to in there all day, I know it sounds silly but it's so weird to think there ok inside this bag of water!!

I would love to just see a day in the life of baby lol, to see what goes on in there. I know he reacts differently when I am in the pool than he does if I am just in the bathtub. He must be wondering what I am doing out here lol.

:Hi: ladies, can I please join you :flower:

My name is Tara and I'm 25, baby is due on the 16th and I'm still :yellow:. It's my first baby and I am so excited, we tried for years and ended up having to have fertility treatment so I feel truly blessed to be here with you ladies. Oh and I'm a Yorkshire lass lol.

I've loved being pregnant so far but found it stressful at times, so much to worry about!
I've been really lucky so far and had a really easy and uncomplicated pregnancy so fingers crossed it will stay that way. Baby can't decide if s/he wants to be bum down or head down so hopefully on my next appointment will be head down and stay head down. I really wanted a water birth so I hope baby cooperates lol. I do feel like time is dragging now though, I just wanna meet this baby so badly.

Well good luck and best wishes to all of us because we don't have long left now :happydance: :yippe:

Hi princess,

I'm team yellow too, I'm so excited to find out which colour we get now.

Where abouts in Yorkshire are u? I'm in Bradford but shhhhh don't tell anyone!!!! Lol

After sections you will need alot of help. My mum helps me out mostly with the house chores. I just look after baby mainly. Every day that passes you start feeling much better. I found that having a shower made me feel very relaxed and less stiff. In the morning i would have a shower, wet the area where I have had the surgery and in the evening I usually sit in the bath for a few minutes if I got the chance. No hoovering for 6 weeks, no pulling clothes out of washing machine, no lifting up toddlers, you need to be very careful in the first few days. Hopefully you will be ok, its your first c-section. It gets a bit more uncomfortable each time you have a section because they have to cut into scar tissue. Just remember to take it easy and only do what your body tells you to do. Wish you the best of luck! When are you due for your c-section?:hugs:

Thankyou Paris,
I don't know why I just feel more nervous this time round. I have had 3 sections before, my last one was 7 1/2 years ago. Its just that they told me not to have any more last time but I still went ahead and got pregnant. I see you are also not far off from your due date. Paris, Is this your first baby?

I get the foot dragging movement nearly everyday. What I find more uncomfortable these days is when baby stretches. Baby's little bum is on my left with its head facing downwards. You can notice baby stretching its feet to the right of my belly and it causes a bit of pain. i don't remember experiencing this with my other babies x

I know what you mean. It usually comes out of nowhere!

I wouldn't have had a clue if my midwife hadn't told me! apparently they can feel which side is the back of the head and which is the front (one side is narrower than the other I think). Lumps is right! I don't know how they do it either. My gp really cracked me up the other day...I went in to make sure I didn't have a uti and he decided to press on my stomach, what I presumed was, to find baby. Once he was done I said to him, "So...where is the baby lying?" And his response, "I could make something up but...I have NO idea! I'm not very good at that!" lol! He's not a specialist...I guess that's fair.

EVERY day?!! Oh my. It is pretty uncomfortable and I can definitely relate to being pushed into the cervix at the same time. Our babies are getting too long.

My due date is the 21st and I'm so ready for this to be over! My body aches all the time, I can't sleep and I can't get as much done around the house/for the baby as I want. So ready.

Oh I'm so ready too, I've had a great surprisingly energetic pregnancy but now its hard work especially having a toddler and it being the school holidays, roll on sept!

Thankyou Paris,

Yes, it is my first! I feel blissfully ignorant and a little anxious at the same time since I really don't know what to expect. It also didn't help that I overheard some lady at the maternity store discussing her tramatic (her words) birth recently and emergency c-section :dohh:

I have been doing hypnobirthing so at least it has helped me to remain very calm for most of my pregnancy. I still have my moments where my nerves kick in but if I can at least stay calm for the moment it will help!

I'm getting nervous now, I sooooo want no be back to normal but want to fast forward to where we are all in a proper routine!! And to where I'm not in pain from csection anymore!! Ha....... Roll on October!!!
