Due date question

Originally, my due date was set to April 17th according to the LMP, but the U/S backed it up a little.
My dr said that she wouldn't change my due date because the U/S has a standard deviation of +/- 7 days.

I set my ticker back a few days, but I really like the April 17th date cause it's sooner (hahaha, i am so lame, really doesn't make any difference).

I'd put it at the 17th because it is sooner, I'm so the same way. According to my LMP my due date is april 4th and thats what I've been using but my doctor said the 5th. I doubt the one day would make a difference, I think this baby is coming in March anyways :happydance:

:hugs: that made me giggle, I bet it felt nice to see it at 21 weeks too. I know it bugged the hell out of me when I saw it at one day after than my LMP due date.

my doc said mine is the 9th. I think it is a week sooner though. We weren't exactly sure of my due date, so he said later is better.. :hissy:
my ticker is set for the 9th though.. if I set it up I would already be in my third trimester.. :happydance:

I think you should keep it on the 17th 'cos then we'll have the same due date :happydance:

When I first found out I did tons of online due date calculations & they all brought up 18th April. Midwife gave me the 21st then the US said 17th. Midwife wants to go with the 17th... fine by me :smug:

Just a bit of useless info for ya.......

At a later stage in your pregnancy if you are measuring quite a bit more than your weeks, and this is unusual then you will get a dating scan.......if this dating scan is out by 5 days or more, they will usually go by the dates given by the scan, otherwise the dates you have now will stay ;)

My midwife didn't want to give me a 'date' but said end of May beginning of June. :dohh:

You're lucky she didn't change your due date, after my ultrasound my doctor changed mine back 2 weeks, even though it doesn't really make a difference since i'll still have them earlier cause their twins =]

hi babes, well i guess it isn't really neccessary to wait till our due dates because that would be 40 weeks to be exact.

Babies will be full term by 37 weeks, and we are supposed to be on guard because we would be in labour anytime from 37 weeks! That is actually 3 weeks in advance!

hey. my EDD was the 5th jan according to my LMP. but at my scans they changed it back aday to the 4th jan.
just make sure you dont get your dates and weeks mixed up with the midwife.

At my 8 week U/S they told me I was a week less then my LMP, and this always made me mad lol. Because I KNEW when we made lil Noah. So at my last ultrasound, I measured at the weeks I always KNEW I was lol. Im sticking with my dates lol. Dunno what doctor will say. Ive already seen my ultrasound report because I work there, so Im curious to see if the doc says Im a week bigger then previously though ;) Probaly wount lol

Ive been told about 20 dates. My first one was the 6th July. Then the 6th June. Then the 8th June. Now its the second. And Im sticking to it! Only 4% of babies arrive on their due date, or something like that, so if you know a vague date then I would just stick to that.

xxx

According to my doc my EDD is June 1 as per my LMP. According to my numbers my date should be the last week in May. But since I dont' know exactly when we concieved, but I do know within 24-36 hours of ovulation I'm not being particular. I think it's something like less than 10% of babies arrive on their due date anyway lol.
