We are lucky enough to have a santa's grotto near us at christmas so we always visit that, then Xmas eve we go the theatre and see what ever kids theatre show they are doing there, i told my mum in March that she would be babysitting Scott-Antonio for a couple of hours (our little man due in November) on Xmas eve while me and Ellie went to the theatre :haha: We leave a glass of milk and some cookies out for Santa too.

I want to take Myles to Panto this year but i think he is to young  I can't imagine him sitting still for that long!:haha:

You never know he might surprise you, my nephew never sits still but my brother took him to the panto when he was just over 1 & 1/2yrs old and he sat through the whole thing quiet as a mouse coz there was so much stuff going on he never got bored

Just the normal German tradition of having the presents on christmas eve :). It is the German way and I think it is much nicer when it is dark or close to being dark outside and the christmas tree is fully illuminates(with candles) etc :D

There used to be 'the little Lord' on at chistmas eve or day but nowadays it is only on a week before chirstmas which is a pity I have always liked watching it around christmas :)

We do a "goody bag" from santa on Christmas Eve (before we go out OH will put Tegan in the car and I bring the bags downstairs and our giant santa teddy sits in the middle of the three goody bags and we tell Tegan Santa sent his helper to bring them  ). Last year Tegan's goody bag had a colouring book, glittery crayons, some chocolate coins, a book and some new PJ's in. Mine and OH's had our fave chocs and new PJ's :)

We alternate years with which parent we spend Christmas day with.. We're due to spend it with my Mum this year, and my sister and her baby will be there too :) We will spend any more babies we have's first christmas at home, but after that we spend it with our parents. We also visit the other parent on Christmas day.

We go into town to see the Christmas lights turned on with my sister and her little girl

We do Stockings in our bed on christmas morning. Last year Tegan thought the stocking was IT...

I try to make Christmas about more than just one day, since I was always disappointed with how quick it was over as a child

I want to carry on my grandparents tradition of having a small bag of presents to open on Xmas Eve. My grandad was German so my nan always gave the grandchild and great granchilden a gift bag of small things to have on Xmas Eve and I always thought it was so nice of her to do it that I wanna carry it on with my children.
Can't wait for Christmas this year, even tho she'll only be 5 months I can't wait to put the tree up for her and watch her be amazed with the lights :)

We don't really have any traditions yet, but will have to start one. I like the idea of getting Amy and the new LO a tree decoration each year that they will then have if and when they leave home. Love Elf! So going to have to watch that too

I'll pass on everything my mum did with me plus extra (when I have children).

** New Pj's on christmas eve.
** Watch "Muppets Christmas Carole" on christmas eve.
** I'd like to read them a chrismas story before they go to bed.
** Put out the usual Milk, Carrots, Cookie for santa.
** Do the online santa tracking thing.
** Playing games on christmas day with family.

Ahhh yes Muppets Christmas Carol <3 we watch that every christmas eve - has to be done!

My faqvourite Christmas tradition (that we still carry on in my house even though I'm almost 27!!) is:
New PJs and book Christmas eve, have fire lighting and Christmas lights on before everyone comes down.
Christmas stockings are a must too!

Ooh, I want Christmas to come now!

We always opened one present the night before, we put up the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, trying to think of more...
