Early risers - matchsticks at the ready!

We did well this morning. She was asleep by 6.30pm so I feared the worst when I heard whingy noises at 5.40am, but for once they never esculated into crying, and she went back off until 7! I was actually showered and fully ready for work by that time!

How's everyone been doing?

We've discovered it was us disturbing Ruby which led to her early rising habit. Neither OH or I worked between xmas and new year and after a couple of days of OH not getting up at 5.45am Ruby was sleeping until 7am.

Not a lot we can do about it though!

We have been doing ok, had a run of 5 mornings of 6.30 or later then last few mornings we have been back to 5.45 or 6am but he has been going back for a nap of around 1.30 hrs in the morning so I have been sneaking back to bed LOL, his bedtime is firmly set at seven now though so I am hoping if we can keep it up he might stay asleep till DH's alarm at 6.10 am!

5:15am this morning! Even his brother didnt want to wake up that early, Caeden went straight into his room and i could hear him after a few minutes saying firmly 'Logan, wake up!'

Typical he actually slept until 7am Xmas morning, i thought he'd be up super early!

Not got him tonight so i get a lie in until 7am tomorrow

Well Logan woke up at 5:30am, he must be getting used to Caeden waking him at that time! lol But i thought id give him a bottle and just see if he'd go back sleep.. he did pretty much straight away.. and we both slept til 10am!!

Myles was 6.15 today, it seems to be getting better slowly but surely (hope I am not speaking too soon!)

I thought we had cracked it with Thomas, recently he's been having one nap instead of two and sleeping until 7.30 most mornings. But this morning he was back to ten past 5. I was so exhausted especially because I had taken advantage of him getting up a bit later to stay up a little bit later myself. He was shattered all day too but would still only take one nap. He looked like he was on drugs by 6 p.m. this evening and I wouldn't say I look too much better.

Polaris, its awful when you have stayed up late and they are up early!

I hate to crow but Myles didn't wake till 7.15 this morning, I can't believe it!! It was my turn to get up and let DH have a lie in too so double bonus I am so hopeful that I won't see 5am again unless we are going on holiday!!
