early scan :)

well ive just got off the phone to my local EPAC and theyve booked me in for a scan at 10am 29th september which will make me 6weeks and 2 days, will they be able to see much at this point, im panicking now incase they dont see what they are expecting to and send me away to return in a week, i couldnt take that again argh im stressin myself out for no reason, has anybody had a scan this early and what did you see thanks

Hello,

I had a scan at 5 weeks exactly and just saw the gestational sac. They booked me in for 3 weeks later and I was quite nervous in that time to say the least because I was dreading not seeing anything in the sac. But at the 8 week scan we saw the fetal pole measuring 1.5cms and yolk sac and a heart beat. I was over the moon and amazed at what a difference three weeks makes. At the 5 week scan I asked if it was normal just to see the gestational sac but as usual they couldn't be that reassuring they were like sometimes we see more sometimes we don't we will just have to wait and see. They are always quite noncommital. But remember babies all grow at different rates. Good luck I hope it all goes really well.

I had a scan at 6weeks something lol It looked like a little black blob but apparently that was my baby i know it wasnt alot but it was still so amazing cant wait till my 12week one to see the difference xxx

I had scan at 6+4, and seen everything (my avatar hun, have a look). Im sure all will be fine, and ive just got back from 2nd early scan at EPU at 8 weeks and all fine again so good luck

I had my first early scan (after m/c) at 6 weeks exactly. Saw baby (just a blob) and the heartbeat

Also had an early scan, had to be interutero b.c it was done so early at 6wks (something you can expect on the 29th) but we saw the HB too! Good luck on your scan!

I had at scan with Alex at 6+2 and we seen her heartbeat. Dont expect to see a lot, its lucky if you do see a heartbeat, but dont panic if you dont!
