Easter"eggs" o'ving easter weekend????

I'm due to ovulate just after Easter - around 26th or 27th. Hope it's still OK to tag along?

CD1 for me today, but it's the first time in a couple of months I've been excited to see my AF cos TTC has been on hold during that time due to having a nasty flare-up of my bowel disease and being put on steroids. Today's AF signalled the official start of our new cycle TTC (had to start preventing in mid February).

Really hoping that now I appear to be all fixed that my Easter Egg will also be sticky and sweet (love that!) and that we all get our this cycle.

We'll be visiting family while I'm fertile and staying in hotels, so plenty of time and privacy for lots of baby-making

If all goes as normal I'm due to test or get AF around 9 May.

to you all, ladies. I hope at least one of us is a lucky, lucky lady.

Hello there Silverbell - it looks like you and I are in the same boat this month around. I started AF on 4/13 and should ovulate (I think) around 4/27-4/28. This is only my second cycle TTC so I only have one month of charting under my belt but I OVed on CD15 last month so hopefully it stays pretty consistent. I'm 27, OH is 33 and we're TTC #1. How about you?

I will be ovulating on either easter sat or sun! so exciting! I started ovu tests this morn (cd 7) as I'm taking part in a fertility research study so have to take ovu tests from cd6 until i get a smily face...means i wont miss it tho!
The only problem for me is that me and DH are going to Devon and will be staying at my parents that weekend...still feel embarrassed DTD when they are around, but will just have to be quiet..lol!!
Really hope it happens for us all this Easter, its month 4 of TTC for us and I'm starting to get disheartened!

youll just have to bd before you go and then do the quiet bd when your there lol i should be ov saturday hopfully get my smiley face on friday im working good friday then off sat, sun, mon i only usually have sunday off so lots of extra time to relax and bd
whats the fertility study about and how did you get involved???

Hi wanabeamama, lol yeah we actually go down on thurs eve after work so its going to have to be more than once i think...oh well!

Well the study is looking at heart problems in pregnancy, particularly looking at implantation (apparently thats when your heart valves start to thicken...). Its being done at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge and im also a researcher there (different study tho) and thought it looked interesting. They need people who are TTC and also people who are preg but have had MCs in the past. I like it because i get free ovu and preg tests and also extra scans once im pg (hopefully soon...). Also its a good excuse to POAS early without guilt as i have to do it 8 days after my smily!

wow that would have been a great studdy for me to do as i suffer from vasovagal ( my heart slows and i fit when i am sick) so worried about morning sickness but im in oldham too far away lol lets hope them free tests come in usefull and you get a free bfp even better lol
is it just me or do you get nervous just before ov incase there is obstructions or timing is out or not enough bd ahhh im getting scared lol my 30 opks rrived today lol thats lots of poas haha ah well its part of the fun

Ahhh I can't wait, I'm OVing (hopefully) Easter Sunday or Monday. We've been practicing this week and I've let my DH know that this is the weekend so get ready!! I'm feeling pretty good about it because we just started using OPKs and so it's a new exciting thing to try. If I don't get a this time around, that's ok, but I really would just like to see if these OPK work and pick up my surge. I had a chemical before so I think I'm fertile but I just want verification that I'm OVing and hopefully fertile
for everybody and their possible Easter bunny babies

I had AF start on the 12th. I think I'll be ov-ing on 26th/27th based on average cycles. I'm not charting or temp or opk-ing.

I'm nervous and scared and exited. This is our first cycle with no protection.

I am suppose to OV either sometime between Easter Sunday 4/24 and Tuesday 4/26. Last cycle I OV on CD17 and CD17 this cycle will be on Monday 4/25 so I am hoping we catch that eggy this time around. I have been using FF and opks, preseed and softcups! to all of you!

Hi ladies, been on a bit of a BnB break so apologies for disappearing!

Me too wannabemama! I got 2 lovely strong positive OPKs on Thu and Fri, so I think I O'd Good Friday, 3 days early which is awesome! Had 4 days of good CM too which is unusual for me so fingers crossed - hopefully we have done enough BDing. Lucikly we have had time off work due to the holidays so much more opportunity!

I got my smily face Sat afternoon but we didnt get a chance to BD until Sunday around 1. This is my 1st month on clomid and Sunday afternoon i was in soooo much pain! I felt bloated and my sides hurt I didnt even want to move beacuse it hurt so bad. Today I am still hurting but not as bad as yesteraday and we will BD tonight Really hope this is our month...

Hows everyone doing? anyone testing at 8/9dpo? As i said before I have to test from 8dpo (now 9dpo) and have had 2 bfn's so far but as I have to use digital ones i guess it could still become positive.... have had a couple of symptoms, mainly sharp tugging at 3/4dpo and sore boobs but of course they could be imagined!!

I was wondering, does anyone know how long sperm can live for? im a bit concerned as we dtd on cd 10,11,13,14 (got my smiley) and 15 - (although i think hubby was a bit tired by then so not as good -TMI, as much, as normal). Normally we would on cd 16 as well but DH was away with work reckon we caught the egg?

I gave in and tested yesterday. I figured since I got a bunch of pg tests with my opks that it wouldn't matter if I wasted one. Got a bfn but I'm only at 9 dpo. I haven't had any unusual symptoms and we only bd once during ov time since my dh wasn't "feeling it". I'm pretty much just waiting for af to come to move onto the next month... GL to everyone else

Hi ladies, sorry I haven't been on BnB much to post!

I Ov'd on Good Friday I think, got 3 BDing days in in a row so we are hopefully covered. 11 DPO today, a small amount of pinik CM today (none now) and very mild cramping. AF not due for 4 days, but I'm not getting hopes up, been fooled before! Testing at the weekend if no AF

Good luck SillyHale, 9 DPO is still early! I've not had any symptoms either apart from the cramping today which is very light. You never know!

Hi Ladies I kinda forgot that I posted in here, but I did OV over Easter wknd and we DID CATCH THE EGG!!!! I GOT MY today at 11dpo (although i have been testing with faint lines since 8dpo) now just for a sticky bean.
