my LO has been sleeping so nice until he hit 3 months. then at 4 months it went even worse  he used to sleep a 5 - 6 hour stretch already. then at 3 months he woke up earlier after 3 hours. then at the 4 months sleep regression he kind of wakes up 1 hour after 9pm (not always maybe 3-4 days a week) and just looks for one more big drink. after that he is usually down another 2-4 hours. 4 hours if i am lucky ;) we co sleep. i try ones a month if he is ready for his bed, but it ends in disaster :haha:

just wonder if this will pass, or do you have any similar experiences? it seems like he just needs booby to fall back asleep very often in the night. like 1am, 3am, 5am. i hardly remember and watch the clock anymore. seems to be 4-5 times.

if i am lucky he accepts the dummy instead of me...

is this due to the sleep regression? or did my nursing him to sleep mess it up... i cant sleep train or make him cry, it will wake up my toddler, plus i find him still too young. also i rather sleep on whatever works then be awake for sleep training. just wondering if they out grow it. and just miss my sleep a bit.

My baby has had constantly changing sleep patterns I feel...it seems like just as I'm getting used to a new sleep pattern one week, it starts changing the next week. He did have a 4 month sleep regression and I was worried it was going to be more permanent, but he grew out of it! I hope your baby does, too!
I personally just go with his schedule, and try to "influence"it slightly with my own, like not having too much stimulation/lights/noises/playtime in the hours I would normally like him to sleep. I'm not really a fan of letting him cry it out, either, but now that he's older I will let him do that a few minutes here and there depending on the situation.

Every baby is different- which is amazing that way, but also makes it harder to predict what our babies are going to do based on other people's experiences!

Oh, and I feed him to sleep a lot of the time, have since he was a newborn, and he sleeps great at night for the most part...so I wouldn't say that is the culprit of yours waking up, but then again-- you know every baby is different! I do make sure that I don't jump up and feed him at every sound he makes and often he'll put himself back to sleep rather quickly.

Good luck, and I hope you get some more sleep!
