Anyone else TTC after a EP. I had my surgery January 19th which my left tube and left ovary was removed due to a cyst. I heard you can start TTC after 2 cycles or 3 months which ever one comes first. So I will probably start TTC in late March or April if everything goes well. I was just wondering if there is any of you other ladies that will be or is TTC after a EP.

Hi! We've been TTC since Oct 15 after an ectopic pregnancy in Nov 14 that left me a ruptured left tube. We just got our BFP last week on Cycle #3. 9dpo bHCG was 19 and 11dpo beta was 53. Progesterone was nice and high at 23. I go see the Dr in 1 1/2 weeks to have an ultrasound.

Congrats! Hope all goes well for you. I am hoping when it my time it goes easy. I kind of more worried since I had my left tube and ovary removed. My OB doctor did say my right side looked good. He checked it out when I had surgery. Right now my first AF showed up and Iam cramping more then usual but they said it can be normal after surgery. Did you have any difference in your cycles?

I also had an EP in January on the 14th and lost my left tube. My Dr did suggest waiting for the few cycles but mentally I couldn't keep preventing something I want so bad so we haven't been using protection but my af is just starting to come on now very light pink but I am cramping pretty bad but I also have endometriosis and pcos so I normally have very painful heavy periods. I go for an HSG in 10 days to check my right tube and make sure there is no internal blockages.

I had an ectopic pregnancy and was treated for it in June. Due to the nature of my pregnancy (I had one in a tube and one in the uterus, at the same time ) we caught it at a stage where it could be treated without surgery. Unfortunately, the only reason we could do that was because the baby in my uterus wasn't developing properly and I would eventually miscarry anyway. I had an injection that stops the cells from growing...so I didn't have to go thru surgery. I was told to wait 3 menstrual cycles to be sure the medication was gone from my body and my system had a chance to reset itself. We have been trying ever since and have had no luck.

Good luck to you!
