Has anyone seen the 'Britain First' facebook page? It's got about 300k likes and it's absolutely revolting. They keep using Lee Rigby's image for various things despite his mother requesting for them not to and they have started to 'invade' mosques (by invade, basically walk in, have a go at them and hand out army bibles and leaflets about grooming gangs). It's really unsettling how hysterical the whole thing is.

Yes it's vile, saw a share from there just yesterday grrr!

Cant comment on the muslims...I have seen about two or so in person here....assuming that they all wear the scarfs. I wouldn't assume anything about a whole religion by a small crazy bunch claiming they are representing that religion. But, I did want to say that I know people who have similar FB posts, or ones about immigrants, or youth these days....it just goes on and on. Feels like these types are just stuck in their own ignorance which is actually similar to what they like to bitch about.....not accepting others. I just find trying to reason with these types is beyond useless as they believe as they want...and I generally find them 'know it alls' who would never admit to themselves, never mind anyone else that they may just be wrong or mistaken. *sigh*

Sorry I haven't read any responses (it's a very long thread!) but I hate how the military has been made to be the face of a lot of the racist crap you see on Facebook, "our soldiers yadde yadde" it's embarassing. There are orders for everyone working on my husband's station not to go to the local pub to us because it is known to be an EDL meeting place, but it also has a massive Help for Heroes banner, why are the two seen as simultaneous?
