Eeeeep potential v small gap between babies. Panicking!

I dont have any advice, my smallest age gap so far is 24 months, but this time I'm looking at a 14 moth age gap, and I'm going it alone. I'm just hoping I make it out alive! :haha:

Congratulations x

There is 15 months between my oldest two. The first few weeks were the hardest but no where near as bad as I thought, my 15 month old was so young he adapted very well. Then as they grew they became the closest friends, they hated being apart and when Naomi-Mae was in Reception class, Morgan was in Year one which had a small fence between the playgrounds and well hearing stories of them meeting at playtime to play through the fence, cuddle and kiss melted my heart :cloud9:. They are seven and six now, they have there moments where they argue but they are still very close friends.

I loved it so much when Kaysie Blossom was three month old we begun TTC again, it didnt work out the way we planned though.

Congratulations :hugs:

Congrats! Mine are 18 months apart, and I love it. It is so much fun watching them laugh at each other. :cloud9:

Congrats!
I'm going to have a year and 2 weeks between my 2!
It was honestly a massive shock to me, but now, at 16 weeks pregnant its completely sunk in and i'm over panicking about it :)
Its ok to worry and be scared, but try not to let that engulf you. Like people have said, it'll be hard at first but they will soon be best of friends. :)

No advice yet but big congrats to you. I am due in 3.5 weeks with my second( having her in 2.5 weeks) and my DD turns 1 tomorrow. Im a little nervous as i've heard its alot of work when they are little but so worth it as hey get older.

My 3rd and 4th are only 10 1/2 months apart. To be honest, when they were younger seems like such a blur to me. Now as they get older (7 & 8) they are easy children, but fight like normal siblings. They're close and I imagine they'll be close as adults too. It won't be so bad. Enjoy it and congratulations!!

20month age gap between mine and it is so much easier than I thought! I was so scared and worried how I would cope but everything has worked out  I love having my girls so close in age and I can't actually wait to have another :dohh:

I'm due next Tuesday, and if he is on time, there will be 15 months and one day between my sons. I'm petrified, don't get me wrong, but they will grow up to be so close xxxx

Hey, I have some experience in this, I have a 24 month gap and an 11 and a bit month gap.

Rosa was only about 10 weeks old when I caught again with Kara. Huge surprise and I went into a little bit of shock, had been using condoms but had a couple slip ups, and as they say it can only take once :haha: To be honest the gap isnt as hard as I thought it would be in taking care of the two younger ones.

The pregnancy took a little more toll on me but I has looking after a very young baby and a troublesome toddler, and it was my 2 yr old that caused me more trouble, the picking her up etc as she was heavier. I was already sleep deprived as Rosa was a sod for sleeping, but by the time Kara was born I still remembered what lack of sleep was like, so that was quite an easy transition.

Same here! It can't be that bad if we're willing to do it again!

I had 18 months between my first and second and 15 months between my second and third - so I had 3 under 3. To be honest, I found going from 1 to 2 kids quite easy but going from 2 to 3 was a lot of hard work. All worthwhile though when I watch them playing together.

Oooh this is interesting. I may be in exactly the same position. My Lo will be 8 months next week. Not sure how far I will be as have been on the pill with very irregular Af's  trying to get my head round it before I get it confirmed  OH seemed to think I was joking when I told him I had a strong feeling I was :dohh: just hoping he doesnt take it too bad :nope:
Congratulations on your news though am sure it's nit as bad as it seems. X

I have 12 months between my first 2 children, then had 3 under 3 then 4 under 5. I have found that having them close together has been just bloody brilliant. Amazing. They grow and learn together, teach each other and are there for each other. Not good when they are ganging up on me! They are now 10,9,8 and 6 and my youngest is 8 months. I truly think it is easier having them closer together. I never planned a 12 month gap, I only ever wanted 1 child lol but I would not ever change it. I love all 5 of them so much.

There's 50 weeks between my 2 youngest and I also have a 3 year old. The hardest thing I've found so far is my newborn always wants feeding at school run time lol other than that I'm loving it!

Thanks so much to you all, its made me feel so much better. I think it was just such a big shock to begin with, I'm starting to get used to the idea now and while some things still worry me im actually quite happy :)

Thanks again!
