So Evie asked if we would have an elf visit us this year, after SD came for Christmas last year bringing Phoebe elf with her. Managed to find a very similar looking elf, who has just put together our tree and decorated it (I'm so obsessive about it, so blaming it on the elf means DD doesn't help! 
)
The elf has brought a book advent calendar with her, but as soon as DD sees a pile of gifts, shes going to want to open them all, so I wanted our elf ( who will apparently be called Olivia Jones
) to leave a little note explaining how it works.
I'd thought something along the lines of of
'Pick a parcel every night before bed, to discover which story will be read!' But does anyone have any other ideas??
