Ewcm help

Hi everyone I'm quite new here me and my husband are trying for number 2 and this is our first month of trying. On Sunday I notice a large amount of egg-white cervical mucous tinged with brown when I went the toilet so assumed ovulation starting (currently not testing for ovulation any other way) so we dtd that night. Still got ewcm today but in smaller amounts not dtd since as our one year old been ill and up in the night so not had chance! Should we try again tonight or am I likely to have missed my chance? Also what does brown in cm mean?
Am I still ovulating all the time whilst ewcm is present?

Sorry for asking stupid questions I know you're all probably experts so thought you could help thanks

Your still in with a chance Hun sperm can live for up to 3/5 days but try get a few more bd in i know few women get ov bleed and this can mean very highly fertile good luck Hun.xxx

Thanks, didn't get chance last night again! And now ewcm has gone fear I've missed my chance unless Sunday night did the trick fingers crossed x
