Excessive spit up

I have been mostly breastfeeding Owen until the last month. When he is at daycare he has been getting expressed breast milk and formula because I don't pump enough to only give breast milk. Well, the last week they have had to give formula only at daycare because I decided to stop expressing (I was getting very little milk from pumping). SO, here is the problem....he has started spitting up HORRIBLY!! He is also getting large dry red patches on his skin in various places. I'm pretty sure it is the formula...but what can I do? I am going to take him to the pediatritian. But, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

sounds like he might be allergic to something in the formula, tends to be cow milk allergy as the proteins tend to cause trouble to little tummies before 6 months. There are soy formulas, but I would give your pediatrician a call and see what they recommend.
