Fade in pattern??

I have just done my first ever ovulation test and think i saw a very faint test line, the test im using are one step ovulation tests. i was just wondering if there is a faint line is this an indication that over the next few days that the line will get darker? i have heard about the fade in pattern and was thinking if this might be the case.
sorry about my novice knowledge over ovulation and by the way i am not currently TTC i am starting TTC in may next year so at the moment just want to understand my cycles a bit more before the go ahead in may

You will most likely always get a line because theres always LH in our systems. Once they start to get darker and darker until they are as dark or darker than the control line is what you need to look for
