Faint positive line on pregnancy test

hello, i am new to this but i really need some advice please.
I have been told i have border line polyscytic ovaries and told i am not ovulating. periods hit and miss. I had a period on 9th october 2013 nothing since. I have been having sex when i should be ovulating. Not been feeling well, headaches, sickness, breasts feel bigger and sore and tingling, tiredness and very sleepy, funny taste in my mouth. I took a freedom is knowing pregnancy test from ASDA on friday 13th 2013 1st thing in the morning with 1st urine. Got a faint but very visible 2nd line in the test line. So had 2 lines. Does this mean i am pregnant? i took another test this morning but nothing. I really hope i am pregnant been trying for over a year . I have shown my mum and a friend and they both say positive. What do other people think. Thanks for your help and look forward to hearing from you.

Hmm if yesterday's was positive today's shouldve been an even darker positive.

It sounds like one test is faulty wether it be the + or - one you'll have to take another and go best out of 3!

As for not ovulating if your having more than 3 months between cycles your chances of getting pregnant are less than 1% so I'd definitely see your doctor and tell him you need help ttc.

hi. Thanks for your reply. I think i am going to make an appointment and go and see my doctor on monday. Shown my pregnant friend the test today with a faint positive line and she says hers was the same when she found out she was pregnant. She has pcos aswell. I have spoke to doc about help in concieving still waiting for a appointment with the fertility clinic as the doc wont put me on any tablets. So i will mention this when i go on monday.

What brand of test was it? I called frer and they said that oversaturation could cause a false positive. I had three positives with their tests, but now I'm having spotting and af was due yesterday.

the test was a freedom is knowing from asda. in a pink box its a test strip like they use at doctors. i dipped strip in cup up to the max line. my last period was 9th of october 2013 i had no period november and no period this month. I dont no what to think. I rang the helpline number and was told a line however faint is a line and positive result. I will go to the docs on monday and see what they say.

Yeah, I went ahead and had a beta draw just in case I had an early miscairrage. AF is kinda strange this month: just a bunch of spotting for two days... not normal.

test again in 48 hrs, when I got my bfp the lines were never the same on each test. Try a different brand or a digi. good luck sounds promising to me x

I have attached to pics of my pregnancy test i would be really happy if people would tell me what they think. I no they not very good pics but u can see the lines.

I rang the doctor yesterday and i was sent striaght to midwifes without even seeing a doctor. Waiting for midwife to ring me to arrange a appointment to go in.
