false alarm

Raspberries - can't believe you have been through false labour 6 times, you poor thing. I agree with you over the "you will know it's real" comment, I was certain that it was time this morning, surely no practice run could be that painful?? fingers crossed next time will be for real!

this happened to me when pregnant with my son i started getting contractions 5 mins apart through the night before his due date and eventually i fell asleep and woke up in the morning with no pain at all didnt feel anything again untill the night of his due date they started 5 mins apart again and got worse and i had him within three hours, i was so lucky to have such a good labour im hoping for the same this time but i doubt it lol. Good Luck xx

im pretty sure im in labour now, been having pains since 1.30 this afternoon and they are now 8 mins roughly apart and are getting more and more intense. i'm now having to breathe through them instead of occaisionally wincing.

I rang the labour ward and they told me to keep going until they are 3 mins apart.

This could be a very long night - i'm scared they're going to stop though. :nope:

keeping everything crossed (well except for the obvious, which i couldn't do now if i tried):haha:

xx

I had quite a funny false alarm last night.

I was trying to get to sleep when I could feel my tummy cramping, so I rolled onto my back. It got worse and worse, my whole bump felt hard as a rock!

I thought, oh god, is this contractions? OUCH! The pains were every few minutes.

Had a few more then thought, hmm better go to the toilet to see if there is any discharge or anything (I was quite excited). Sat down on the toilet...turns out I just had to poo real bad haha!

Morning,
Sweetthang are you still with us? or have you gone into full labour or even had your baby, fingers crossed for you.
absolutely nothing happening for me except a really sore groin on one side, think pulled muscle or baby pressing on a pressure point. Here's hoping the gravitation pull of the full moon tonight is a good one!!!
how is everyone else?

*fingers crossed* for sweetthang :)

worries me my mw has told me to call hospital at 8mins apart and be thinking of heading threre, but I know thy'll tell me to wait and won't listen when I tell them my last labour progressed quickly. Here's hoping my waters just break so I have to go.

I'm still here to obviously. The tops of my legs kept getting pains in them last night, baby was going crazy for a while and my bump was rock hard. Kept
getting a pressure on my groin area to... I was hoping. This morning nothing

come on full moon.

me too. Still here. I had the worse nights sleep ever. The pains in my hips and groin was unbearable in bed. Last night before bed, every time i got up i had so much pressure like my whole body was going to fall out. This morning i have back ache and thats about it. Waiting for the midwife for a sweep but she has not given me a time, so this could be a long day. Here to hoping the full moon does something for all 3 of us. xx
