Hi Girls  Just after your thoughts please

I am now 3 weeks late for AF! :witch: I tested about a week ago (using a clearblue digital) & it was :bfn:

We arent actively ttc yet, just occasional ntnp!

I already have 3 children & I am feeling some of the usual symptoms, but also not all of the symptoms I usually experience ie: sore boobies & extreme sickness toward food

I have been diagnosed with a uti, which I am now on antibiotics for, I rang the nurse today & asked her if these are symptoms that go with a uti & all she said was 'wait & see if the antibiotics clear the symptoms up....Are you sure your not pregnant!' :dohh:

These are my main symptoms:

Missed AF
Bloated feeling
Sickness feeling
Extreme dizzyness
Constipation (sorry tmi )
Needing to wee often

What do you Girls think? Im thinking of doing another pregnancy test if AF doesnt arrive within the next week or two...Thanks in advance :flower:

TMI: I get awful constipation the day or two before my AF is due. I always say :test:, but then again, I really like POAS. :haha: Does it hurt when you go pee? Are you drinking more than normal? FWIW, those don't look like UTI symptoms to me, the look like PG symptoms!

Thanks for replying :hugs:

It doesnt hurt when I pee, only a dull ache after I have been (ive had cystitus before & its similair, but not the same, also didnt clear up with the usual treatment I use :nope:)

I have been told its defo a uti....But im just wondering could it be something else too :shrug: I know, only one way to know :test: :haha:

your body is very good at playing up and there really is no way of telling without testing, when I went to the gps over my spotting he said its normal to sometimes get a dodgy cycle or to not get a period at all, the majority of times when your pregnant you get a bfp with a week or so of AF, but you could still be pregnant, I say test, but I'm also addicted to POAS  good luck hun :hugs: I hope the uti clears up

The reason I am swaying more toward the :bfn: being correct is that with all 3 of my Children I never had any false negative tests ~ By the time I tested they were all very strong :bfp: results

After you pee, does it feel like you still have to go? Sorry, too personal. That's how I always know when I have a uti. Also, were you suspeptible to utis during your pregnancies? I know I was.Could be both uti and bfp! Hope you feel better.

You could still be pg hun, my mums friend was 6 weeks gone before she got her bfp x

Thanks :hugs: No, after I pee it doesnt feel like that ~ Just this dull achey feeling

But I do know just what you mean, when ive had cysitus its just like that & also when you go, not much pee comes out! 'ouchie'

Eeek! In ways it would be better if im not pregnant just yet ~ Daughters only 6 months old & I would be having a 4th csection, we are also emigrating in 10 months time!

However if I was I would be really happy, nervous but happy! :flower: & I know it was 'meant to be'

i'm a bit weirded out how having a UTI would stop your period? Has that ever happened before????
I hope you get answers soon....

Also my other half just said your UTI could be giving you a false negative - maybe wait till that has cleared up and then try again with the PG test.

Hmmmm are you ever that late? If not I think you're about to have a BFP!! The first one might just be negative because you don't have enough HCG to register it yet.

Let us know about your next test!!!! Maybe you'll be the next BFP in our group!!!!

Doing some reading on Google, looks like a UTI's have caused late periods for a lot of women.

i have had a lot of utis, even been hospitalised due to them spreading into my kidneys and damaging them but i have never once missed a period coz of them. coz u are having to wee so often could explain why you have had bfn . need to take time for the hcg to build up. fxd for you xxx

I like this.

Ignore this. :haha:

I think wantabean's experience speaks for itself. Ooooo I hope it's a :bfp:!!!!

I like the idea of a BFP better. I was just trying to get well-rounded information :haha:

I say :test:! I always encourage that :haha: Perhaps a FRER... I worked with a girl a few years ago who was late with AF, gained a few pounds, etc... she took a test and it was :bfn: still no AF and more symptoms... still :bfn: this continued and finally the doctor told her it was just stress as she had just ended a relationship and moved back home with her parents. Well guess what. 9 months later she went to the ER with stomach pains and came home with a baby boy! I know the stuff you seen on TV right? She really never looked full-term. Just looked like she had gained weight in general. And with :bfn:'s what else was she to think. Her and baby are both happy and healthy. :baby:

You Girls are all great :hugs: I really appreciate all your comments :flower:

In a way ~ It would be lovely :baby:

But in alot of other ways the timing wouldnt be too fab :dohh: But of course we'd be happy, after all we knew when 'ntnp' that it could happen

However judging by the size of my past babies :baby: there is no way you could miss me being pregnant! :haha:
