false positive?

why cant you look at a pregnancy test after it's allowed time? will it give you a false positive or false negative? BTW...8DPO
I am confused. I noticed a line after leaving mine for a while...(took a shower, got ready for work) then checked it...to nervous to look at it right away.
well, i see a blue line..so I am wondering if that is b/c i left it to long...


HELP ME! I want to make sure I am pregnant b/f I tell Hubby.
I hate it's night time and I cant run out and buy a digi test

You aren't supposed to look at it because about half of the tests will show some sort of line when they are dried. I'd take another one though hun cause it definitely could have shown up in the time limit but you just didnt look. A positive test will stay positive for 24 hours buttt a negative test can turn positive after 10 minutes. x
