Look, you said you were confused? A quick doctor's appointment will alleviate a lot of that confusion. I'm not being mean. I'm actually a pretty nice person. But when someone has been getting positive pregnancy tests for 3 months and has yet to see a doctor, (or a midwife, whatever you choose) something isn't right.

maybe my hands type faster then my brain does and i am ready for a kid ok how many 15 or 14 year olds u see have a kid and u tell me that im not ready for one, im more mature and grownup then they are

You are more than welcome to ask your questions, the area of the forum it was in though was for pregnancy tests pictures so this thread didn't really fit there--hence me moving it to what I had hoped was a more appropriate section

If you have concerns over a member than by all means report it. There is no reason to go around calling names and accusing people of things. In the case that you are wrong it causes a lot of hurt feelings! In the case that you are right it hinders our job!

I think there is a general feeling among of lot of us that we aren't allowed to speak honestly - we can only answer the question if the answer is "yes." There are times when what we speak WILL hurt someone's feelings, even if no ill-will is intended. I believe that's what Carly is talking about - we have to tip toe around and be careful about what we are saying so we don't accidentally hurt someone's feellings, but really, leading people along isn't doing them a lot of good.

It's like when people post tests that are clearly BFN or EVAP, but so many people want to be "positive" so they lead someone along to give them hope.

I think it is really sad we can't be honest on here.

I know...I agree with you. But there really is a feeling of being afraid to be honest, because people who are honest and say what they really think get called out on it and are told they're being "mean." I see it all of the time. Even when someone says something tactfully it still happens.

I think everyone here is on edge to begin with. TTC month after month is enough to make anyone nuts. Then when your pregnant your emotions are all over the place. I think we just need to learn to sugar coat things...you can be honest. "I'm sorry hon, I think it may just be the extra 17 pounds. But go to the doc and get checked out just in case!! GL" sounds alot better then " I think your just fat" It's all in how you say it.

I agree if the OP is 3/4 months along that she should have gone back to the doc before now. BUT, that being said, I remember being scared out of my mind with my first...and I was 21 at the time. I didn't even think to test until I was already 2 months in. I had a fast life between working full time and my friends. So I can understand letting it go this long.

Posting it in a forum like this is ok too. I think just having strangers tell you that you may be pregnant helps everything sink in. Even if this is all a big fake story...does it really matter? How does someone looking for attention effect you? If you've had enough of this thread then walk away...no one is making you stay and read.

ive been accused of lying on here until an admin stepped in and stood up for me with her own history, i was told my positive tests in june were evaps when they clearly wernt, i lost that baby even though id seen the beginnings of a sac growing on an ultrasound at 4+3, and was told that its 'impossible', I'm sorry but i do think you get little groups of nasty people who enjoy to talk behind your back and thrive off confusion of others and love a good gossip! Ive got tons of mates on here that i text and am on facebook too and its a wonderful site, but seriously theres a point where 'opinions' should be kept to themselves!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't dream of calling someone a liar unless i knew for certain, nor would i even bother to comment if i did think so, i'm not here to have a good bitch and moan im here to seek advice and give it!

to OP, see the doctor, your belly does look pregnant but im afraid ive had a family member grow a bump, have a positive pregnancy test but it turned out to be a large cancerous tumour measuring the size of a 23 week old baby, the reason for not having an ultrasound or suspecting pregnancy before was because her and her partner were told they could never get pregnant, therefore never tried. Call me a liar, but certain womb cancers can cause faint positive tests when situated in the womb region.

this post needs to be deleted, anyone whos concerned for the OP should directly contact her, this was cruel and unfair and ive had my fair share of silly cows thinking they can give me a piece of their 'opinions', people are here for help, not to be a direct target of your pissy mood.

idk what a evap line or a BFN looks like thats why i asked people i have never been pregnant and i just wanted peoples opinion

evaps are when a line comes up after the time limit but with colour, more common in blue dye tests, therefore people tend to say when you get a thin appearing line which looks a positive result, not to trust it and to go for a pink dye test or bloods to confirm you are infact pregnant.

BFN is negative, basically, a negative result.

im sorry that uve had to go through this, hopefully you will get an answer soon.
