Hi all. this is our 1st fathers day our little girl is 8 months old, we made a fathers day card at the library and wondering whether to get a shop bought one too, don't really want to as its like a hand made one isnt good enough on its own if i bought one from the shop too when really sentimentally its better than any card you can buy - what would you do?

I'd use the one she's made. I'm not buying OH one from DD as she's made 2 herself at 2 different toddler groups so he can have those. Just need to get her to scribble/draw in them :)

If she's done a hand made one I wouldn't bother buying one.

No I wouldn't buy another, I always get DH a card from me too though. Evie made a lovely card at school yesterday, I love getting hand made cards.

I wouldn't buy one - my mum always said to me the cards we made out of folded paper with little drawings on when we were little - always meant more to her than any shop bought one :) x
