I was just thinking how great it would be to be able to surpise my husband for Father's Day. I am scheduled for a blood test June 11th, not sure if I will be able to keep a secret for a week if I do get a BFP with the blood test. If all goes as I hope, we might just celebrate Father's day early! FX for all of us!

I'm testing on the 19th. That would be awesome to be able to tell him on fathers day! I would have to go and get him a card and a shirt or something that said happy fathers day.

WOW never really dawned on me, Fathers day would be awesome my AF is due the 20th- so i would be testing on fathers day and possibly get a BFP. THEN our 18yr wedding anniversary is July 3rd and if AF shows we would actually be in the middle of ovulation again that time but would be great be FINALLY after all this time celebrating a new baby coming into our family the thought just takes my breathe away. Im praying this is our month.

Ok, so I haven't posted on this site since before my vacation in May, but I've been lurking.
I've been watching this thread because I had the same idea. Father's day is actually the day before my wedding anniversary, so it's the perfect time to surprise my hubby.

I just tested this evening, and to my surprise, BFP! So now I just have to keep it quiet for a little over a week. We have dinner reservations at the melting pot on father's day, and I will tell him then! The search has started for the perfect "you're going to be a father" card.

And I like to practice my acting skills. So I plan on tricking my hubby by acting like we need to schedule our times for the next cycle. (We always schedule...it's what works for us)

I'm sure he will be shocked, too. I tested too early a few days ago and got a BFN and went on a rant about him needing to get his checked out! So he's not going to see it coming. Yay!

Your willpower is amazing. When I get my BFP, I'm sure OH will come home to me dancing around the house! If I can even hold off from calling him before he gets home.. haha!

There will be one other person who knows before him...my sister. I didn't tell her (or anyone for that matter) that we were TTC until this week! I had reached my breaking point mentally, and I needed her support. As it turns out, she is just starting her TTC journey, so I'm really glad I talked to her. I'm going over to her house later today to share the news with her.

Everyone else (including our parents) has to wait until 12 weeks. That gives us time to come up with a fun way to surprise them!

Thanks! Ahh, I'm so impatient. Come onnn sunday! At least I work tomorrow and thursday, and have a party at my parents saturday to celebrate my graduation from college (which was 2 months ago.. lol) so it'll keep me somewhat busy until then!
