Father's day surprise or no

Okay, so I got my BFP this morning. I have not seen DH in person since, and this kind of news must be in person for me. I've talked to him on the phone a couple of times, but he works until 9:30 tonight and I barely see him before I go to bed.

On the one hand, I cannot wait to tell him. On the other hand, it's Father's day this Sunday. He's taken the day off work to spend with DS and me. It's going to be a lovely day and part of me wants to wait and plan some elaborate reveal (like DS bringing him his card in a "big brother" shirt and see if he notices).

Is is cruel to wait until Sunday just so it can be on a special day? It's so close...but I feel bad about knowing and not telling him right away...you know?

I love it! Father's Day is perfect! I waited 3 days to tell my hubby after I found out, because I wanted it to be announced in front of 100 fellow racers at our event The week after that was Easter, so it was perfect to announce to our families that day.
