Hey everyone,
I am going to start injections of Follistim next week and gear up for my first IUI! Anyone else on their way to IUI in the next 2 weeks? I am excited and nervous. Did anyone do Follistim injections? Did you have side effects? How about overstimulation?
Also, when the nurse explained the procedure today, she also showed us the catheter. It didn't seem very long... I thought that IUI helps with getting the sperm in place but it didn't seem to me that much of a length advantage to me. Or is it that it's more concentrated?
I am trying not to get my hopes up too much in case it doesn't work. But it sure feels great to know we are finally on our way to pregnancy.
Oh, I forgot. We are doing this because of low motility. So that's why I am especially interested in the distance to egg ;-)
