February Cherubs | Testing Thread

@ehjmorris I can clearly see a line on that! Looks like a positive to me! Can you post your chart?

@littlewitch no mistaking that, I’m getting my hopes up for you too! When will you test again? Definitely looking like a BFP!

Morning!

sorry I’ve been Mia I’ve been waiting for af to start after getting bfn’s. I’m 13dpo and it should of started yesterday or even day before

well I’ve got a confusing test this morning, on a 4 hr hold and it came up fast.
Weird cause my temp is really low…
This is probably going to be the worst indent I’ve had! It’s one of those lines that look pink but grey…

I think that’s pink! Good Luck on next tests!

Im trying to learn temping better and Im not seeing why ff puts my o date as cd18 rather than cd16. Can anyone please tell me what im missing?
Cd18 the cb opk even came up as low fertility. Maybe im just hopeful it happened 16 because it puts me for better chances and also further in the tww. Haha!

Never mind.. bought a new pack this morning and it’s negative…
Will see those that got af in March!
Goodluck those still testing and congratulations on BFP!

@Pink.Rose
I kept having twinges in my ovaries and like pulling sensation from around 2 or 3dpo with my 3 year old son.
I hope it means something for you.

@jellybeanxx
I just want to thank you for all the support hon. You have been such a good friend and your always there to listen to my many ups and downs.
I’m happy we have forged a lovely friendship.
It pains me to see you so low but it’s totally understandable.
Just want to give you a huge hug.
And yes definitely hitting 40 is a huge milestone, and one not so welcoming when ttc.
43 was my next unwanted milestone and I’m there now.
I guess 45 will be the next one, but hoping I would of had my rainbow way b4 then.
Hitting 44 feels very daunting too.
But you do still here of women having babies then so there will be that little shred of hope.
I really hope your body surprises you and ovulates in a few days.
And pray we both get our take home rainbows In our bellies very very soon.
[-o<

@ehjmorris i see that clearly.
Oh so fx for you

@Babydreaming9
Welcome hon and good luck.

@littlewitch
The easy@home tests are 20mlU and that wondfo is probably 10mlU.
Hope you get clearer lines tomorrow.
I’ve got everything crossed for you.
Im month and cycle 12 trying now.
It’s a real bummer isn’t it.
But hey ho at least now I know I can still fall.
Just need to fall again now and for it to be supper sticky.
Praying that for us all that have had losses and recurrent losses, they really are not nice at all.
Having one loss is bad enough. But to have 3 or more is just heartbreaking.
Pray we both don’t have to endure any more loss.
And the next one will be the one [-o<

Oh no @ehjmorris that’s excuse my French. So shit.
I’m so sorry love.
Will be seeing you in the March group.
Fx it will be our extra sticky BFP month.
Here’s extra sticky baby dust over all us that have had losses and still trying and those that have been trying for ages.
:dust::dust::dust:

@littlewitch
That’s a :bfp:
Hopefully the other tests will show tomorrow.

@jellybeanxx I’m sorry. That’s so frustrating. Though things can change quickly so FX it happens tomorrow. For me, if this third cycle of clomid doesnt produce bfp, im not doing a forth cycle. We decided that last night.
I don't really say much on here, but wanted to let you know you're not alone in your frustration with clomid. It didn't ever work for me to help with ovulation and the side effects were awful. I was able to try Femara and ovulated 4 if the 5 months I tried that and the side effects were so minimal. Maybe it's something you could ask about trying, even for a month just to see if it's nicer on your body. We did still end up needing to go the ivf route, but part of our issues are also male factor.

@HalfricanMa I think FF will use CM above OPKs when determining ovulation as well as the temps. It’ll also go off when it rises close to or above what it thinks your cover line should be. If you play with the settings you can change the detector (the standard one is andvanced but there’s also research, FAM which is purely your temps and OPK) it sometimes gives you different ovulation dates. Despite all our testing, tracking and temping, ovulation is quite difficult to pin point exactly. Temps don’t necessarily rise straight away for example! It’s all very complex!

@Suggerhoney thanks lovely! Did you see the 47 year old woman in that over 40 group on FB that just got a natural BFP? That gave me some hope. Like you said, it’s just the milestones can hit hard!

@ehjmorris I’m shocked that wasn’t a proper positive, that looked like a lot more than an indent! I see what you mean about your chart though. Very definite temp drop. How strange and unfair for you though!

@jellybeanxx oh wow , no I’ve not seen that.
There was a lady on there a few months ago that posted a bump photo. She was 32 weeks and aged 46.
I asked if she had any help. Like meds or ivf or iui. But no it was completely natural.
That’s so good there is a 47 year old on there now too.
Also when the other lady, the 46 year old posted, the comments were very encouraging.
So many stories of others 44 45 46 and even 48 pregnant naturally.
It does give you hope.
I just don’t understand why there isn’t any on here tho.
Like I’ve only seen 40 and 41 year olds have babies on here naturally.
All the others that were 42 or over and were pregnant, all ended up losing.
And they never got there rainbow.
I wish there was a 40 and over ttc section on here.

@jellybeanxx
I’ve sent you a video on messenger.
I saw this video a while back.
It’s a lady that fell pregnant naturally with a healthy baby at 44.
And if you look at the comments section there are a lot of positive stories.
Others that had babies in there mid 40s.
Think there are some there that are like 46 and 47 as well.

@elmum
Message me on messenger hon and I’ll send you the video too.

well I’m never ever going back on birth control, unless I do have another baby’ then I will.
But I think I will give myself untill this time next year.
And it I’m still not pregnant or had my rainbow by then then I will probably stop trying.
As in stop using opks. Etc.
I did stop temping and it’s weird how I stoped temping and then fell again.
So I’ve decided to do the same this cycle and future cycles.
I will just use opks. And will temp just for those few days, like when I get ewcm or peak, then ovulation day then the day or so after until I see that rise. Then will stop temping.
That’s what I did with my son.
I stoped temping and only took it on peak day, ovulation day and like 2 days after.

and i did that with the miscarriage too and the one I just lost.

There's definitely something on the bottom test, I don't even have to enlarge the pic and my screen resolution is horrible.

11 dpo evening tests with different background. I feel like I see something very faint on both.View attachment 1114212
I deffo see something everything crossed for you! This wait is just bloody horrible. I’m glad I’m busy in work these next 2 days so hopefully it will go faster. And then Sunday I need to spend the day scrubbing our house as we have a viewing on Monday so that can keep my busy. And then Monday Tuesday Wednesday I will be doing my u I assignment so that should keep my mind occupied. I am if I got it xorrect 11 days past my smiley face on Tuesday, and I’m not gunna lie to myself and say I will wait to test cz I know I’ll probs cave in and start Sunday ahaha even though I know that’s far too early xxx

@littlewitch I am definitely seeing something. I would keep testing, I find my SMU is always better than my first, no idea why but it just is.

@Suggerhoney Do you think maybe setting yourself a time limit is making it worse though? I think saying you'll give yourself another year might be unnecessarily pressuring yourself but I could be wrong, maybe temping and OPK testing is stressing you more than you realise and maybe trying 1 or 2 months just doing nothing but BD'ing might give your head a mental break from the TTC?

@ehjmorris I really don't think that is an indent. I know they suffer but honestly that definitely looked like it had colour and to be that clear would be very unusual for an indent, when I have seen other peoples indents with those tests they are normally totally clear and quite faint. I would definitely say try a few other brands of tests especially Wondfo, and test again twice a day at least as that really does look positive!

AFM - Progression really is happening! I am feeling lots of twinges etc which I am sure must be from PB (Project Baby as we are calling it for now!) settling in. I think being my 3rd baby (5th pregnancy) I am feeling it more. Definitely can tell it's not AF pains. I am still doing daily Wondfo tests because I am finding those the most accurate and they show progression the best, I would say this mornings SMU one has the strongest line I have seen yet. I am feeling really hopeful today, I just want PB to stick I really do <3
