I got my :bfp: today:happydance: but thinking about it now I'm starting to feel really scared I got a faint but definite :bfp: this morning but I have to tell work because of what I do I'm dreading telling them because then everyone will know again, if anything goes wrong I will have to explain all over again. My first pregnancy ended as a natural mc it was at 5 weeks:cry:. Just wish I could feel as happy as I did last time, not going to drink coffee, have sex or over work myself for now and if anything happens at least I can feel I've done my best x

Sorry you didn't get any replies sooner! I don't get time to read/write here more than a 2-3 times a week and the format of this forum isn't really the easiest for finding/reading threads. In my opinion at least. The subject line also matters a lot.

How are you doing now, almost 2 weeks later? Have you had any tests yet? You posted again so must have made it past the 5 week milestone this time - congratulations on that! Did telling at work go OK? Or did you decide to wait a short time even though you said that because of what you do you'd have to tell right off?

I totally understand and am sure all others here do too about really hesitating to get excited about the BFP and fearing potential crushing news as much or more than being able to be happy and excited and believe there will be a baby in 8 or 9 months. You might want to look in the "how to you stop worrying" thread or the "... rainbows" one for your due date month for more conversation.

Fingers crossed for you that all will go well this time!

Congrats on the BFP classy! I'm also sorry you didn't get replies sooner. I check this group pretty regularly and never saw your thread until today.

How have you been doing since you posted this? Have you seen your doctor yet and when is your due date?

We all understand the emotions your experiencing. Pregnancy after loss is definitely challenging and the fear and worry is normal. I know what you mean about wanting to feel as happy as last time. I miss the innocence and joy I was able to feel about pregnancy before my mc. In my case the fear that something will go wrong again is overshadowing the joy I should be feeling.

I'm about 11 weeks along now. I've had an early ultrasound that went perfectly and since heard my baby's heart beat on a fetal Doppler. I still worry of course (impossible not to after experiencing a loss), but it does ease just a little. As the weeks pass and my appointments continue to go well, I feel just a little more confident that everything will be ok this time.

Can your doctor arrange an early scan? That may help ease your mind.

Wishing you all the best and hoping this pregnancy goes perfectly! <3

Hi thanks for your posts I'm 6 weeks tomorrow . I'm due 27th May, I did tell my boss but my work mates that I have hurt my back that's why I can't do any lifting so at the moment it's alright my hcg levels are increasing rapidly which is really good as the first time they weren't at all just trying to stay positive praying for a rainbow baby xx

So glad to hear the good news classy! Stay positive :) I hope this is your rainbow!
