Femara and Clomid O Days?

So every month I was on clomid 5-9 I would get a positive OPK CD17 or 18 and now that this is my first month of femara 5-9, I am on CD16 today, and was wondering will I get my positive opk around the same time as clomid?? Negatives everyday since CD 10, I'm really worried I won't ovulate on femara since I don't know if it will work since this is the first time using it..

Don't know if this helps but on clomid I ran a 28-30 day cycle and on Femara I run a 35-38 day cycle. I did not ovulate on the clomid.
I feel that the Femara runs my cycle but they are long. So if you ovulate maybe it will be 17 days past af start...you will just have to play the tracker game lol.
On Femara I had alot of Ovulation pains--lasted a few days.

I do days 3-7, if your days 5-9 your Dr. must be wanting later eggs(more with less quality) as opposed to 2-6(less eggs better quality)
3-7 is just right in the middle.

Thanks! My doctor wanted 3-7 but didn't get my prescription till day 4 so just doing 5-9 this cycle, really hoping ill get a positive opk tomorrow like I do with clomid on day 18!!!
I hate the tracking game lol I feel like I'm not going to ovulate! I've been getting cramps today but don't know of that has anything to with anything really haha, How long have been ttc? And on femara, are doing femara naturally or with iui or other drugs? Thankfor the reply!!

Ive been ttc for going over 10 yrs now. Ya I know long time but ive had alot of surgerys and drugs and ect. Im now seeing the number 1 Dr. in the US. Hes on a mission to get me preg but im taking a break for a few months.

Ive done over half a year of Femara and it did push my ov date back by a few days for sure. Without this drug I wouldnt function at all though.

In the beginning we did Femara with trigger(ovidrel) and a few other things, the more cycles I did on Femara the less help I needed so NOW just Femara does the trick.
I am taking a 7.5mg dose though and we might up it next try. Im 4 weeks off the drug now and just now getting my libido back ugh. That was the wierdest side effect for me. But I think its the dosage. Plus im not a fan of headaches.

If your cramping that could be your ov sign...thats what I felt. Give yourself a 3 day window. But if its your first round your cycle may need to get used to it and regulate.

I hope your ultrasound shows you good eggs! Don't be afraid to go to a higher dose if needed.
