pastas are also good, I find that the elbow macaronis have worked best for us

Erm...waffles (the potatoe kind) i do these for Paddy, then cut them into strips they are easy to hold.

butternut squash wedges
steamed mongetout (sp?)
raw pepper in strips

frozen yoghurt (icelolly style - also great for teething )

Great idea for a thread would make a great sticky when it gathers steam x

veg - roast aubergine, steamed broccoli, roast mushrooms, baby corn, roast butternut squash, roast pepper, green beans.

fruit - plums,

avocado wedges, lettuce, watermelon.

I'm sure I will think of some more in a bit :D

Asparagus (not the very fine kind, the thicker stems)

Homemade pizza

roasted parsnips sticks.

lightly fried potatoes. i then fry the potatoes a bit with a carrot puree which makes a great kind of roasted on ketchup which sticks to the potato.

I've found dried fruit great for keeping in a little pot in my bag - dried mango slices are a favourite of Elliots, and he's enjoyed figs, prunes, peach & apple (and saltanas but they're not really finger foods?). Just check the ingredients as some have sugar added.

weetabix topped with a bit of yoghurt - that way they don't go too soggy to hold but still taste of something!
lentil patties
fried tofu sticks
cream cheese and salmon sandwiches

...forgot to say that LO finds yorkshire puddings very yummy and easy to pick up. Also bagels (cut in half, toasted and cut in half again so easier to hold) spread with anything! Sliced advocado is great too but someone prob said that already! ETA Dumplings!!! (just made some in vegetable stew)
