Haha I was just getting ready to check in with you ladies! I just took a test a few minutes ago and it was positive! I think I'm still in shock! Haven't told hubby yet.

Thank you ladies!! I really was thinking I was out until I started feeling very nauseous Friday night and Saturday morning. Finally tested yesterday and got an immediate positive!

We are super excited. Doctor's offices are closed today because of labor day but tomorrow I'll probably call and get my 8 week appointment set up. We haven't told anyone yet- it's going to be really hard waiting to tell everyone!

I'm feeling on and off nauseous, some slight cramping and headaches. I'm not complaining though! !

I'm so happy for you mini! Really hope I will be joining you next month! I should be O'ing today but I've been really upset with hubby all day so no bd'ing happening. So I'll definitely be skipping this month.

Can't wait to hear more as you get further along!

Thanks, Gina! The waiting for the first appointment will be awful so I'm sure I'll be checking in pretty frequently lol. What happened with the hubby? What did he do?

We had a house guest the other day. His old roommate that I am not a fan of at all has been squatting in an abandoned house so we let him come over and do some laundry, charge his phone, eat and have a bed for a night. The next day the guy needed to make money so my hubby helped him in a way I didn't approve of. My hubby saw it as if he didn't help him out he would go mug someone or sell drugs so he was trying to do the right thing. I saw it as that's his problem and no reason to commit a crime for this guy. I asked him to please not do it and instead of talking about it he just went and did it. He hates upsetting anyone, he can't be the bad guy so he gets taken advantage of alot. I'm still pretty mad at him but we talked about it when he got home from work last night. Of course he came home with flowers and my favorite chocolate knowing he messed up lol.


Your already 5 weeks along. What's another 3? Haha. Just kidding. I feel like everything about having a baby is all about waiting. But it will be well worth it in the end!

Yes fortunately work will be busy so I won't be focusing on the wait too much. Yeah right lol! I feel kind of bad since I've only been at this job a month, and in a couple months I'll be telling them I'm pregnant lol. Whoops!

Ya I know what you mean. As bad as I want a new job I'm staying here until I have a baby to avoid that lol. Unless hubby gets the job he is going for. If he does he will make his pay now plus mine twice! So I will be able to quit whenever I want! Lol. But places, especially corporate places, expect that sort of thing. I'm sure everyone will be excited for you and not thinking of the fact you just started working there. Everyone loves babies

gina, what cycle day are you on? trying this month?

I've been busy with renovating and redecorating the downstairs guest bedroom and bathroom, so it's kept me distracted, which has been nice! Still had a little extra stress this past week, hopefully that doesn't hurt my chances!

Today, tomorrow, or Thurs should be O day, so almost back into that TWW. I'm still taking it easy, no OPKs, temping every few days when I am on track to do it correctly so that I have some sort of pattern to see. Not as good as I did last month, but I am trying to keep more relaxed about it, so.... we'll see!

I had dreams last night of taking 4 different tests and having them all come back immediately positive, so here's hoping!

Hi RexMom! I am on CD15. From the signs I believe I am O'ing today. Haven't decided if I want to BD tonight or not. (We haven't at all this week yet) I was planning not to this month but I keep going back and forth. I just don't want to miss a chance. It's been so nice to not obsess about it this month but my workout routine has been crazy and there is such conflicting opinions about if a tough mudder is bad for you. I would be devastated if I was pregnant and lost the baby due to it. So I have no idea lol. Going on a 5 mile run tonight so I probably will be too exhausted anyways.

Renovating is a good distraction. We are doing our kitchen right now. I think the relaxed way is the way to go. People stress themselves out too much ttc. It's a vicious circle. You stress out because you want to conceive so bad which is the exact thing stopping you from conceiving. Lol.

Thanks, RexMom! I'm hoping the relaxed approach works for you- it obviously did for me, since the month we conceived was the month I didn't track and was more focused on my family visiting. Funny how that works!

Gina, maybe taking this month off will give you more energy and excitement for trying next month? Although if you get the opportunity I would say don't pass it up

If it did take I just hope I get a test to say it before my event and really hope I don't have another CP because that would put me probably bleeding during the TM. Water and mud with no real bathrooms would not be good. Lol But leaving it in fates hands at this point. If it happens I will be so excited, if not I wasn't trying anyways.

I hope it did so we can be bump buddies I'm still super nervous, especially since I've never been pregnant before and have no idea what to expect. Lol. I think this weekend I'll go to the bookstore and stock up on some pregnancy books. At least to tide me over until my first appointment.
