i was picturing vickie putting cheerios all round a banana, sittin there spending hours doin it till it looked like corn on the cob we gave her melon first and then cucumber. she can bite thru the cucumber with no teeth! now she has everything as finger foods really. she loves cheese sticks atm, she still seems to have the runs with them!

banana is slippery so cut it in half and half peel the half if hat makes sense then they can hold the peel part and suck on the unpeeled part!

I was gonna start the exact same thread PP....Im so worried of giving Patrick something though and a big bit fall off into his mouth and him choke.

Can i just say i got one of them baby safe feeder things in adsa for £2 something...they are called Munchkins though..hang on will find link https://www.asda.com/asda_shop/rc04...a_trolley_body.jsp&item_status=I&on_promo=Yes there we go! x PP...sorry for threadjacking! x

We got ours from Tesco, it was a lot cheaper. Amazon was just the first place I found it when I googled it!

I only give leo rusks atm cuz hes only just sussed he can eat things himself lol.

you know those organix carrot sticks? im sure i looked on the back of the packet and it said 12months plus. or was that another kind??

Yes, they are the ones that I give Stanley and he's only 7 months. I must admit that I didn't really check..naughty of me, but I had been recommended them by lots of other mums with babies roughly the same age. Have to say that it's one of the things that Stanley gets on best with, he loves them and gets excited when he sees the packet. I only give him a few and then I have the rest of the packet (they are yummy!)

The organix carrot stix are 7months+. They just melt in their mouth though. I give Amelie them. Like a giant wotsit.
