first response pregnancy tests question??!!

i did a first response pregnancy test the other day and the result was 1 pink control line then were it should show positive/ result line these was a distinct, marked colourless line (like exactly the same width and size as the control line but with no pink)... this was within 10 mins koz i opened the test to check... do first response 'NEGATIVE' results always show 1 control line and another marked colourless line on the positive side??? thanks in advance for your help!!!

Sounds like it might be an evap or the indent. I would test again.

I have done millions of these tests (having had 4 pregnancies and a total of 3.5 years ttc), and every so often I see one of these. If it looks colorless, or you are unsure, it's almost certainly negative. Every positive I have had has been undeniably pink. Frers don't get evaps that often, but when they do they look colorless, or like an indent. Definitely test again to be sure though, as you may just be a bit too early. If its not your month this time, I hope you get your bfp very soon xx
