First time bfp probably 5+1, very excited and nervous!

Hi ladies, got a surprise bfp today on cd37, thought I was ovulating late but had 7 days oc positive opks so dipped a frer today just incase and the test line came up instantly! Thought the test was faulty to start with because the control line took a long time to start showing! Fingers crossed this is a sticky one in the right place! This is my first bfp so this is all very new. I'm in the UK so I guess one of the first steps is informing my GP?

Yes, call GP. They usually want you to fill a form in and give you an information pack.
Midwife will contact you for a booking in appointment to see you around 8/9 weeks.

Depends on your area actually. If you google "pregnant" and your NHS board, it should come up with a page giving you more info. Where I am, you're best to phone the midwives directly for an appointment to make sure they book you in on time for your first scan.
