five year old missing!!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ark-Bridger-appears-court-charged-murder.html

I think this confirms he hasn't told them where she is. There can be nothing worse for her family :nope:   :nope:

I so hope they find her! The river had gone down a lot the last few days. It was such bad luck that the first few days April was missing the river flooded and they had such torrential rain

On another forum I'm on they are talking about they think mark bridger is covering up for someone maybe one of his sons
Also that he is Aprils biological father!

Most probably all rumours but you never know!

The balloon picture was beautiful

Kaths that is an interesting theory.

Just wanted to say lanterns are dangerous and i wouldnt encourage anyone to use them and thats why pink balloons have been released instead although there was probably a minority that let off lanterns.

Personally i lit a candle for little april and she has been in my thoughts all day aswell as the past week just very sad its unlikely she will be coming back i still hold hope in her being found xx

In what way are lanterns dangerous? The fire? (Hope that doesnt come across as rude, genuinely interested).

Kath, I had thought early on about him being her dad...I don't know why, mayeb because with the Tia Sharp case it was so messed up it made me think about what "crazy" scenario could be going on here. Had never considered him covering up for someone though, there are so many possibilities. I hope they have the right person, there can be nothing worse than the wrong person being convicted. Could I ask what forum that is on? I was on digitalspy but the thread I was reading got deleted I think!

Don't want to butt in but I think there's been accidents where lanterns have fallen when being lit & set things alight & also the metal in them can be dangerous to animals, getting caught up in them etc

Sorry i haven't had time to read the update, has he admitted hes murdered her?

Frooty, no not as far as we are aware.

Samemka, I hadnt heard of them falling and causing damage. I delibertly get ones that have no metal in them or anything so animals cant get tangled in them but I wont send them to my girls again if they have caused damage by falling.

Balloons have the same issue for animals though.

Tasha, hugs. You are such a lovely caring person. Throughout this thread you have been so nice to everyone & I just wanted to say thank you :) I am probably wrong about the falling & setting thing alight thing, I'm sure I saw it on a wedding disaster programme once but it can't be very common LOL

Just wanted to share the info below. I hadn't thought of it like this, & certainly didn't realise
perverting the course of justice was rarely used. Something to think about!

"What is unusual is the 3 charges, just about everyone who murders someone and chooses not to confess will lie and conceal evidence in a very deliberate manner but this charge of perverting the course of justice is so rarely applied and ITV news say this charge applies to him hiding her body, well Ian Huntley did that, many killers did but didn't get that charge.

I think it is a back up,i think they have some evidence to believe she is dead and he killed her which is enough to obtain charges but i feel that although they are hoping to convict him for murder and do believe he did it they are not too confident that a jury will agree,a jury must be absolutely sure either all 12 or in some cases the majority.

If they don't gain more evidence leading up to the trial then they may lose the murder charge but so that he doesn't walk free they add abduction and perverting the course of justice,by doing that there are two more possible things to have him found guilty for and those things may be easier to prove than murder.

The maximum penalty is 10 years for perverting the course of justice,if he was found guilty of that in a case this serious he would probably get those 10 years.

I do wonder though,i mean obviously there are facts and evidence we can't know and the poor mother could be in denial but she knew this man and doesn't seem to believe he has killed her daughter at all,i hope the police are right because whilst i doubt that April is alive now if they are wrong they are going to lose all hope of finding the truth and ruin this man's life too.

We can only wait until the trial and verdict before we decide in our own minds if we think he really is guilty,he is innocent up to that point."

Don't stop sending them to your girls :hugs: As long as you aware of your surroundings i.e not letting them off within 30 metres of a building or near where livestock are you should be fine. It's not very often it happens.

Here: https://www.nightskylanterns.co.uk/info/faq/ has a few tips as to how to use them safely :flower:

Here's some pictures I took on my phone earlier, I'll spoiler them if anyone doesn't want to look :hugs:

We were told not to take lanterns, just balloons, but some people still took them

Beautiful tribute to a stunning little girl. Never before have I seen a case touch so many people. Xxxxxx

Samemka  thank you so much. I think you and all the other girls here have been lovely and kind too, I just wish our kindness and 'getting to know each other' had been under better circumstances. :hugs:

I've read similar to that before, and I can see why they think that. In the last thirty minutes or so, I have got a new theory and my gut tells me it is the answer.

Thank you Jem, I follow all those guidelines without even knowing it, guess its mostly common sense. Really pleased you showed me that though, cos I would of stopped but it is something I like to do for my girls on their birthdays etc.

Emmy :hugs: heart warming

There were more people letting off balloons, but as we were stood in a circle I only managed to get pictures of the ones that were opposite me.

The most heart warming thing about it is that they actually flew off in the direction of machynlleth xx

Can you share your new theory Tasha?

The covering for someone thing is interesting. Who's to say there wasn't someone else crouching down in the land rover which would change things completely.

Well, I am not sure cos it involves someone else, so not sure how much I can say on the forum. Iykwim?

I will send you a message if you like?

Do you think someone else is involved Tasha? I had a very vivid dream last night that someone else was involved.when I woke up I checked the news as I thought my dream was real
